This fan is used in my small kitchen which gets overheated in the summer. It's so quiet I hardly know it is there. It's a big help in keeping the temperature bearable.

Not sturdy enough

The knob for adjusting the height and movement broke the 1st week I received the fan.

Powerful, quiet

I've bought many fans in my life and this is by far the most powerful, in terms of moving air, that I've had. Even compared to box fans that sit in the window, it's much stronger. And better yet, it's much quieter! I've had it for five years now with not a single problem, and remain as happy as I was from the start. Plus, the remote control provides all the functionality one could ask for (except for a straightforward, literal manual, with more than pictorial attempts to work around one—perhaps the manufacturer could consider an online manual that could be downloaded). On low power mode it still moves a lot of air and is whisper-quiet. Really, I can't recommend this fan enough. And I have nothing to do with the company in any way.

Purchased a couple months ago. Best I could find on the market for my needs. However, it was one of the most expensive that I ordered and tested. Would have liked a lower price.

Very quiet

Only problem is I can't take apart the grill to clean the blades. Unscrewed the latch and tried to pull the grill apart. No luck. Not sure what else I need to do to clean the blades.

I like the fact that it has a remote control and it’s high powered and I will recommend this to my friends and my family. Also I will but I want another one for another part of mouth.

Chilling like a Villain

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hate being hot and as summer gets closer with every day, I started looking for a new fan to replace my old box fan that I had to prop up to keep running.
I wasn't really looking for a stand up fan, but when I saw the Rowenta Turbo Silence Extreme, I decided to give it a go.
I'm sold! I'll never go back to those rotten old box fans. The Turbo is amazing! There's no clucking or clunking, it's almost completely silent, and if you crank it all the way up its like standing in the Arctic tundra during a wind storm.
It's the perfect companion for those hot sweaty summer nights!
