Overall this is a great fan. The ease of use and functonality are great. It is great for use in a larger (living room) and does a great job of circulating the air flow of the room. The downfall, however, is the low noise. To some that would be a selling point but for me if it were to be used in a bedroom I like having a little bit of noise for ambient sound. Other than that there were no real drawbacks in my opinion.

Love the Rowenta Turbo Electric Fan. Was able to use it on a hot day and it worked great. Very quiet. Ran smooth. Great air flow. Great for every room.

Amazing Multi-Speed/Setting Fan

This is an amazing product that provides good, strong air circulation. Compared to other noisy fans, this one is whisper quiet, The ability to access "night mode" is absolutely wonderful. I used it while babysitting a small child. Despite the fan already making minimal noise without it, I actually had to check and see if the fan was still on--the silent mode is flawless.

Very quiet, except . . .

I just used the VU/VF266x Turbo Silence Extreme last night for the first time. It works great except when the oscillation knob is in the fixed position, there is a residual noise that is forthcoming which distracts from the 35 decibel noise feature. This does not happen when the fan is oscillating from left to right. I hope this is not a design feature flaw. Overall it is a great silent fan. I hope someone from Rowenta will contact me about my issue.
