This fan is amazing! It is quiet beyond belief and it almost feels like air conditioning! I live in Florida and our AC has gone out three times so far...each time this fan saved the day! I have MS and getting overheated is one of the worst things for my health. My Rowenta is a lifesaver!!!

Great fan except for the outer brace

Great fan. Very quiet even at high speeds. Unfortunately, it tipped over and the outside brace that holds the outer protective cage together cracked. It is plastic and not repairable. I would recommend you make the brace out of metal. It is less than a year old.

Quiet fan with remote

I have been using the Rowenta Turbo Silence Electronic Fan for over a month now and I have really been enjoying it. When its on "Silent Night" I have to double check its even on (it's that quite) but yet you can still feel the breeze. If you want more breeze or white noise you can turn it up to "Turbo Boost' which is still very quiet but really circulates the air. This is the first fan I have used which actually has a remote, and I have been loving it. The only one thing I would change, which would be, is if the remote had a oscillate option. The assembly of this fan was pretty straightforward and took less then 10 minutes to build. The fan itself seems pretty sturdy and looks stylish. I also liked the timer mode which was very convenient. Everyone who comes over to our house always makes a comment about our "fancy fan" and how cool it looks. I would recommend this fan to anyone who is looking for a good quality quiet fan with a remote.

I loved the fan once it was assembled. The directions to get me to that point, however, were terrible. I had a lot of trouble trying to figure out what I was supposed to do.

I'll start by saying that the packaging of the Rowenta Turbo Silence Extreme is very well done. Assembly was very quick and simple with only one screw needing to be touched with a tool. 95% of the assembly is done by hand and only took about 10 minutes.
