Sonys best phone yet

I love my xperia z3 from tmobile. The attention to detail on the phone is second to none, just oozes quality in your hands. Very thin phone also. The display is vivid and bright with great viewing angles, big upgrade in display quality compared to my xperia z1s. Sonys mostly stock version of android is great, clean and simple, you won't find lag here especially compared to other brands. The 20.7mp camera takes amazing pictures especially in daylight. You wrap it all up with good dual front speakers, amazing battery life 1-1.5+ days, ps4 remote play, and water/dust proof. What isn't there to love about this phone. Oh and very easy connection using nfc to all my sony products, Sonys tv, sony portable speaker, sony surround sound just to name a few
I would recommend this to a friend!

Sleek and sophisticated inside and out, water and dust resistant,Refined. Sony really got the details right. Perfect for my needs in a phone.More than what i'd expect to find in a quality product. The glass IS FRAGILE so BUY the warranty with ADH.

Solid & Aesthetic Design

A truly amazing device. Finally an Android phone that doesn't lag or fall short of user expectations. High quality photos with a plethora of camera features and options including manual modes to allow users to express their personal creativity. Camera works well in low-light conditions. Screen is bright and crisp. Photos, videos, and webpages all look great on the large screen. When I was looking to upgrade my phone I was torn between the Z3 and Z3 Compact because my previous phone was a Droid 4 which fit nicely in my hand and I never felt like I was going to drop it. While the Compact would have been closer to the size of my other phone I decided to go with the larger screen for ease of reading emails and webpages.
The overall design of the phone is aesthetic but one reason I don't like the glass back is that it reduces friction which makes the phone more likely to slip out of the user's hand or off of an unlevel surface like a car hood/trunk. I think a textured soft-rubber coated matte backing would look just as good but be more suited to prevent dropping the device. The port covers for the SIM/mSD slots and the mUSB port are nice and flush. It's great to see a physical camera button again. I would have liked to have an IR port on the Z3 like my Z2 Tablet has so I could use the phone as a remote but it's no big deal. There's no HDMI port but with the "Throw" feature from Sony as well as devices like Chromecast there's no need for an HDMI port these days. Phone charges fairly quickly with either direct USB or magnetic charging and stays charged a long time. While I still prefer the way my old phone feels in my hand I like the improved functionality of the Z3 and am satisfied with my purchase.

Lovin' the Z3

I've had this phone about 8 months and I'm very happy with it. I'm coming from an iPhone and wasn't a big Android fan but Sony's version of Android is great. Battery life is phenomenal! I read some of the problems people have had with their phones but I've had zero problems with mine. Great phone!

This is a amazing phone! Impeccable build quality with the best hardware of any phone I've seen! The last phone i had was a iPhone 5s, the sony z3 puts it to shame!!!

I was waiting all the time from Z1 and Z2 era. Now finally I got the Z3! It was shining and well-designed. The screen is amazing and the camera is not that bad as others comments. I noticed that there are a lot of mode for the camera and if you try it other than only using auto mode, you will find what an amazing camera it is! The background defocus and creative effect are my two favorite. The battery is so good: I used it to navigate for about 6 or 7 hours, took 1 hour photos, checked email and message for regular base and made some phone call. After all that, I still have 24% battery and not even using the stamina battery mode. Now, my girlfriend even wants to use her iPhone 6 to exchange for my Z3~

Best smartphone

I have had this phone since it was launched back in mid-November 2014.
Screen: Best display. I did not use any screen protector. The fingerprints on the screen easily go off if I just use simple cloth to clean.
Battery: I get two days of battery with heavy usage of talking, youtube, netflix and emails.
Reception: I used to get poor reception and dropped calls in my office with my iPhone 4s and T-mobile. I still have t-mobile, the call quality is pretty good and LTE speed is around 30 mb/sec.
I bought a magnetic charger and did not have to remove the flaps to charge the battery. It takes about 4 hrs to charge the phone from 0 to 100. Again I have to charge the phone once in two days so it is not a hassle.
Sony doesn't get much publicity but this phone is a true gem. The phone works very smooth. I never saw a lag in the response. In most aspects, z3 is much better than iphone 6.
I bought the 16 gb version and got 64GB card for $25.

I am hard to impress but this phone is SUPERB

I don't know what those who wrote negative reviews meant but this phone is excellent! I saw comment about worst image processing ever... excuse me, this is so not true... pictures are very bright and crisp, even in low light. I saw another comment that message box doesn't work properly 40% of time. Really? I never had any problems, it works just fine! I 'played' with Samsung S5, iPhone 5 and 6+, HTC One M8, LG G3 and nothing comes close by total satisfaction to my Z3! The best screen (bright, vivid), second best camera (after Samsung S5), absolutely THE BEST WITH NO EVEN CLOSE COMPETITION - music player (Walkman) - I am talking about headphones, front speakers are crisp but could be bit louder (still not too quiet though). Gaming experience is outstanding, I am using this phone 4 months now and I have zero cases when it crashed or stopped. 3GB RAM and 2,5Hz processor is doing right job. How many 3Gb phones on the market out there? Think this - Z3 is fast and powerful. Finally, battery life is greatest of greatest - I am charging it every 2 or even 3 days depending on usage.
