I love the way it looks and feels, and the pictures it takes are top-notch. It does have an over-heating problem, which is irritating, but luckily, it let's you know when it's getting too hot, it never ends up shutting itself down. It also would have been nice if it came with a magnet cable rather than the micro USB - prying the case open to charge every night is irksome.
I purchase this phone on April 10 2015, when i received the phone I was happy. The design, the grip, everything was great on this phone. But then the screen did not function. It was my second day and the touch display did not work. At first the screen did not turn on, then it finally did, but the screen did not work. I swipe trying to unlock it and nothing. I was really disappointed. I like the phone it was snappy and fast and simple. I called customer service (I purchase the 2yr protection plan) and they told me they will replace it for no charge but i would not be able to use the warranty again for the same issue, I was frustrated when they told me that so I just decided to get a refund, I could not trust a device which stop working on the second day of use.
This phone is great! I try not to give a biased review but I can honestly say that this phone is a work of art. I love the mix between Google and xperia in the UI. This phone is everything I imagined it would be. Definitely dependable because it's long battery life. It got me through the day, I'm sure it will get you through too. Gone are the days of worrying about battery.
Why pay $700+ for a phone that scratches so easily? After one week of normal use I had 2 big scratches across my Xperia Z3's screen . The phone was always put in to my pocket with out keys or coins. Many forums have observed the same experience.
I have been a huge fan of SONY mobile products, and have had them since they were still Sony Ericsson. I've had an Xperia Z for two years...an all glass enclosure that traveled the world with me and sustained barely a scratch. The only reason to purchase the new Z3 was the loud speaker finally gave out. The new Z3, while a very sexy beast, arrived with a cracked case (the back). It was fixed, returned, and housed in a protective case that was totally NOT sexy. However, it fell off the dining table to the patio paver, and the front screen smashed to the point of making the phone useless. It is now being repaired yet again. Did I mention I've only had the phone for 2 months?
Is the perfect tool to have with you, is useful, elegant and really practical. You can have everything you want wherever you want, is all in your phone. Is just amazing
