Excess never felt so good

It goes without saying that you don't have to spend this kind of money on a dish rack. But whereas your run-of-the-mill bargain rack will almost certainly be an eyesore, the SimpleHuman offering might well be a centerpiece. No longer am I quickly scrubbing mold off an uninspired piece of molded plastic so that I can hide the darn thing before guests arrive and see what sort of filthy prison the dishes I serve them on is consigned too. Instead, I'm proud as I watch those guests rest their eyes on the burnished surface of the SimpleHuman rack.
But aesthetics aren't the only arena where this appliance shines. The whole thing is meticulously engineered, with plates fitting effortlessly on one side, and bowls, tupperware, and small pots resting gracefully on the other. It's proof of the genius behind this that, with prior dishracks, I never realized how much space was wasted by empty glasses, but now I could barely function without the four cupholders. I'm not a wine drinker, but the wineglass holders have proved incredibly versatile; anything with a loop or hook on it can be strung across. And while the knife block is no substitute for a proper knife set, it's a great place to store those weird mismatched knives I've collected.
While certainly not an essential, this dish rack is an absolute joy to use, and a smart addition to any kitchen with a stainless steel theme.

Beautiful, functional, strong

Our last dish rack did a yeoman's service of 15+ years but was dying. This rack filled the role perfectly. Expensive? Perhaps. But it is leagues beyond anything else around, and the cup rack and stem rack together are worth the price. I smile when everything drips clean and dry without spots. All of the water ends up in the sink, and not on the counter. Large and able to handle a sink full of pots and pans and washable that don't make the dishwasher. Just get it and you will see.

Who would have thought that something as mundane as dish drainer would be this fabulous. I love, love, love the knife holder - safe and efficient for my good knives. The wine glass holder is great and the drainage is wonderful A winner!

A great dishrack!

This dishrack is a nice size and is raised off the counter so the counter doesn't get wet. The drain spout works well to allow all water from the wet dishes to drain into the sink. It's easy to clean the floor of the dishrack as well as the bottom drain pan and spout. I'm very glad I bought this product!

Love the sleek design & how much it can hold. We have a dishwasher but seem to hand wash items often. The stainless steel matches all our appliances on the kitchen. The drain spout works great, no leaking. The wine drying rack attachment is great!
