Excellent Step Can

Excellent trash can. It opens with ease, is attractive in my kitchen, and takes care of both trash and recycling. The only improvement that would be nice would be a bag holder in the back like some of the other trash cans have.

Damaged when arrived, two times…

I love the can, but so disappointed when they arrived with big dent. So I returned and ordered the other one (still waiting for refund), since I really need a trash can. To my further disappointment, same dent happened to the 2nd order but less severe… I don’t want any more hassle to return, accepted this as the quality of the product and no control whatsoever…. I don’t think I would take a risk to purchase from this brand anymore…(beautiful design and marketing, but, product has no control in quality, how could I buy something with constant defect…don’t even think about 10 year warranty…)

Fantastic idea! Have had a simple human butterfly top trash can for many years but the new dual compartment version has solved my recycle bin location problem!

Big but yet too compact inside

I wanted to get a trash can that can accommodate recycling but not get multiple trash can. This was a nice concept and it'll work but I a few cons for anyone that is considering this trash can. I own a butterfly trash can and really love it so I decided to get this. Here are a few cons:
1. the inside trash is not very spacious - almost square but tall. Limits the size of recycling and trash items
2. lid of the butterfly top doesn't close tightly (opens slightly) and seems very light and not durable. My old butterfly was heavier and closes well.
3. It's big so will stick out depending on where you plan to put the trash can

Pros:
1. Accommodate both trash cans and recycling
2. Seems to need unique trash bag for the square like trash can but I was able to use a normal kitchen trash bag, just make sure it's deep enough
3. Quiet opening and closer
4. No fingerprints left behind
5. Tall
