Worth the Price!

I couldn't believe I actually was willing to spend this kind of money for a -- gulp -- trash can, but I did and having had it for about 10 days I must say I'd do it again. I was so tired of listening to the clank of the lid of the old container every time I released the foot pedal. It was about to drive me crazy. The new one is whisper quiet. It really does seem to be fingerprint-proof, the bags are form-fitting and easy to switch out and they hold an incredible amount. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Perfect for a small kitchen!

This is the perfect garbage/recycling can for my very small kitchen. I have no nooks and crannies to place separate garbage and recycling bins, so this is the perfect solution! It fits nicely at the end of my peninsula and is thin enough to not hog the walking area between the counter and the dining table and chairs. Especially nice is that it's "hands-free" by easily stepping on the foot pedal. This is a great find and exactly what I needed.

Sleek solution for our new kitchen

Recent addition / remodel of our kitchen dining area and did not want to integrate trash / recycle into a cabinet. Our previous round simplehuman can is still going strong but we wanted a single solution for trash and recycle. This can fits in perfectly and so far it has lived up to simplehuman quality. It might be nice if there was a bag supply holder integrated like other cans but really has no bearing on it's functionality.

We just moved from a house to an apartment (downsized and retired!) and needed a trash can. My sister has a different model but this fits perfectly in the space we have. We love it! Very efficient.

Awesome family trash can with minimal kitchen space

I LOVE our trash can. I wanted something space efficient for both trash and recycling. Form and function are perfect for this model. I also find the D liners for this trash can to hold much more than I imagined!

The can is somewhat bigger than I anticipated, and the butterfly lid goes down a bit slower than I would prefer. All that said, it's a great product and the best solution I've found for a household where we don't generate much trash, but do generate a lot of recycling.

Form, fit and function with lots of style, what more could I ask for! My old one (10+ yrs) is sitting right beside the new one. I only replaced it so I could have the recycling with the trash. My previous one is just for trash but still working fine. Only negative aspect, took way too long to receive, about 20 days, but I knew it would be worth the wait.

Love for a trash can? Yes.

I live in Oregon where we recycle nearly everything and in an apartment where space is at a premium. So I liked the fact that this could be for both trash and recycling. I love it. Fits nicely next to the stove, is quiet to close and easy to use and clean. I knew I loved it but everyone who comes over and uses it also remarks on how great it is. Yes, we are complimenting a trash can. Nice job Simple Human. Keep up the good work.
