It's perfect

I bought it to keep my puppy out of the trash and it's perfect. It's slim design is great for a small kitchen, and a light tap of the foot opens the top just enough to drop a small item. I'm still using the bags I had before I bought this, but may just end up using the bags that are designed to fit, it would just be a bit easier. Still undecided on that, but this is a great trash/recycling can for a small kitchen.

Searched for months for a stainless trash can to accommodate trash and recycle that would fit in the space we have allotted for it. It is taller than our old one, another plus. We take the trash down to the garage much less. It is deceptively larger than our old one. Anyway, I love it!!
