Great mirror; poor/no instructions

I bought this mirror because my old, unlighted one didn’t work well after lighting changes from a bathroom remodel. This mountable lighted sensor mirror works well to solve that problem, and I am happy to have it. But it was difficult to learn to use, and I’m not sure I’ve mastered it yet. There are NO instructions provided to explain the use of the manual/automatic feature, for example. All you get are mounting instructions and a small childlike drawing of a mirror that doesn’t even look like this one. Simplehuman needs to invest in someone who can write “words” to explain to users how it works, which doesn’t seem too much to ask for such an expensive electronic device.

We were disappointed that the mirror has only one magnification. I just had thought perhaps there would be 100% as well as x5. Totally my fault for not reading thoroughly before purchasing. It works great for makeup.
