Bought one and only used 3 or 4 times and after a year it would not take a charge, called Dirt Devil and they replaced it with same type, I doubt if this one will last any longer especially after reading the many comments of other unhappy owners of this very model.

Hi Lee1,
We're glad to hear our customer care team helped you out. Your Scorpion should last if you do the following: Charge the hand vac for 24 hours after the battery has been completely depleted. Then remove the hand vac from the charger after that 24-hour period. Leaving it continuously charging for days or weeks may slowly decrease the overall run time. If you have any questions, please email John.Hitch@ttifloorcare.com. Thanks!
Ideal for quick machine cleanup in wood shop, rather than dragging out the shop vac. Wide mouth for big chips, and the nozzle is perfect for nooks and crannies on and around the machines. Should have gotten one long ago.
We had one fail after 2 years and after one call and the mailing of the label we received a replacement vacuum. My mother uses it to suck up flies the best tool, no mess like a fly swatter. The vacuum has good suction, is light and easy to handle.
Not very powerful...wish I would have bought a different model or brand. Cheaply made.

Hi Dolphin, We're sorry to hear you don't like your Scorpion To get the most power, make sure the dirt cup is emptied often and the machine has a full charge. Once it's completely run down, plug it into the charge and wait 24 hours. Also keep in mind not to leave it on the charger for longer than 24 hours if possible. Please email John.Hitch@ttifloorcare.com if you have any questions. Thanks!
I bought this model about 2 months ago. I am disappointed that the vacuum only holds a charge for less than 10 minutes.

Hey beachy, If you are experiencing a low run time, please try this: Unplug the charger from the wall for 10 minutes, and run the unit's battery down completely. Once this has been done, charge the unit for at least 24 hours. This should restore the battery to its full run time. Hope this helps!
