There is no shortcut for printing or scanning - you must navigate a click through menu every time. The printer reports that it is out of ink and refuses to print until you buy more toner from them while the existing cartridges are still half full - you can even take them out and shake them and hear the ink sloshing around. One year into ownership this is beginning to break - the plastic little mechanisms on the inside where you slide in the toner cartridges wear out. Not recommended
Pros: fast print speed
Cons: Difficult to use, Flimsy Construction

Very poor

This is by far one of the worst products Canon or anyone else could have made. It should have been a good product, but is extremly cumbersome and anthing you want to do requires so many keyed input. A simple copy function requires you to dial or go through 7 steps. What happed to a simple key to copy? faxing is no easier you are presented with amenu of opetions which you must choose from. Printing quality at is best is poor and very inferior to our Xerox 8570.

A printer fit for Office Space

Complete garbage of a printer.
I have the Canon MF9200 Series UFRII LT
I can't even find it on Canon's official site.
Instead, they have the Cdn version.
What does that even mean, Canon?
I thought you are selling printers not mattresses.
Stop having so many models.
Driver is so hard to find.
Even if you manage to install it, it fails for no reason what so ever.
When you finally get it to work, the printer occasionally crashes.
You have to power cycle it.
But not just a simple off and on.
Instead you need to let it stay off for at least 5 minutes.
This is probably to drain its internal capacitors.

Not very professional to offer a product and then not keep your drivers updated for the most current operating systems. I think its time to throw this away and get a real professional piece of equipment.

A really good product!

I just bought my second MF9220 for use in my church office. The first one lasted 3 years and many thousands of copies. It is fast, works well in our office network, does double-sided prints well, handles special paper well, and is reliable. We had the first unit repaired a couple of times, but it needed an new fuser and was too expensive. A new unit, which comes with a full set of cartridges, was less than the repair cost (New 9220-cost of new cartridges was more than the repair), so time for a new one. I think it is a good product.
