This projector is amazing! We purchased this for our living room (NOT A DESIGNATED HOME THEATER). There is a lot of sunlight in the room. This projector works AWESOME! The picture with all the light in the room is no problem.
We are using a 120'' screen from Mustang, Onkyo 609 receiver (best receiver for video encoding) and Take Energy Speakers.
I researched a ton before buying this. I was leaning towards the 5010, but went with the 3010e. I love it. No lag on the E version and easy to set up. Watched movies, sports, and regular tv with this...and no regret not getting the 5010.
100% amazing! Some complained about lag with the 3010 - I do not see any lag using the E version.
Picture quality out of the box - WOW
Set up - EASY
Ambient Light - no problem (looks even better at night)
Absolutely blown away at the quality - have not used 3d yet.
Video Games - it's like playing on an IMAX screen.

My 3010e

Everything I thought it would be, excellent resolutions. Goes perfect in the man cave. My wife pick a nite for movie night, so I am happy, all is good. I will be shoping Epson again.

3010e totally rocks

I did my homework, realized that the 3010e is the one, and splurged to get it. I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am with this purchase. High-quality from the start, and it worked flawlessly from the first power-on. You should see the projection on this thing -- it's crisp, clear as day, and literally breathtaking. You will not be sorry with this product.

easy quality

It took longer to take the device out of the box than it did to set it up and begin watching quality television. In much of todays retail stores you have to purchase this product based upon reviews as retailers do not stock or demo projectors anymore. This was the perfect purchase. I live in Vegas and there are alot of windows and alot of light. This performed excellent in my family room 120" screen about five years old. Both Blueray and Directv. Watched the oplympic swimming trials, perfect.

PowerLite Home Cinema 3010e 1080p 3LCD Projector

I am really amazed on the outcome of this super projector. Great 3-d and oustanding reception of the 1080P. I have the 3010e, but I have 2nd thoughts regarding the HD remitter becaue I have direct TV, maybe I should of ordered the 3010. I am not using the remitter. If I had purchased the 3010 I would of also received two pairs of 3-d glasses. Anyway a great buy for the 3010e. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to purchase a projector. By the way my screen is 15 feet wide and hasn't lost any clarity whatsover.This projector is a great value for the money.

Man Cave Reality

I spent plenty of time reseaching which projector to go with for my man cave. Upon narrowing my choices down to either the Epson 8350, 3010 and the 3010e, I pulled the trigger on the 3010e. My entire family was blown away by the jaw-dropping picture quality! It's simply flawless (awesome)! Definately an elite entry level, cost-efficient projector. Trust me, you will not be disappointed! Highly recommended!

I looked at this 3010e and the 5010e. I wanted top of the line because I thought the setup would be easy. This machine was everything I wanted, at the right price. Beautiful picture and easy setup. Just make sure u know your throw distance before you install in ceiling, if installing yourself.
