The Seal Works

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this to seal a washing machine bucket after some repairs. The product works extremely well. It has great coverage once the 48 hour curing process was done. It is definitely easy to use, just point and spray. After using my washing machine multiple times after spraying, the bucket did not leak. The drawbacks were small but noteworthy. One example was the smell was very pungent. I would definitely need to use a mask next time and use it in a well ventilated area. Also I needed to apply multiple coats for complete coverage, which is kind of annoying since the only way to tell whether the seal is working or not is seeing if light or liquid is seeping through. Overall it is a great product for outside projects and tasks, but it packs a smell that will have you reeling if you are not in a well ventilated area.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Flex Seal black

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my can of Flex steel in the black home. And I proceeded To use it on leaks I had on my gutter and foundation. The flex seal worked great now I don’t have anymore leaks. I highly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am happy to have found this federal spray. We had some leaks in our gutters, and decided to give this a try before having to replace the gutters. Wrll, it was a lifesaver for those gutters. Sprayed them and it actually rained a few days later, and no more leaks. So simple and easy to use, and we'll worth it. I would recommend.

Seals great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a week ago and it was easy to use. My grand son's water mat sprung a leak water was everywhere. I sprayed it with the flex seal and it sealed it right up. I now keeping a can handy . I would recommend this spray to family and friends.

Surprisingly exceeded my expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t think I’d like this as much as I do. First, I sealed a pot the kids broke and it held up. So then I thought I’d try it on a toy boat that I actually told the kids I’d replace but it’s sealed and holding up really well. So then I sealed a part of our rain gutter! I plan on buying the other colors now so I can get more stuff done. I’m not sure how permanent the seal is but I know so far it will at least hold up long enough until I have the time to do repairs and saving me time and money is always a great thing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

User error perhaps?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not sure if I applied this incorrectly or not but I was hoping to use it on our roof to fix a few areas that needed temporary seal. It had a hard time sticking and staying to the various roof surfaces that I had used it on. Maybe it was because it needed to have been cleaned more? Not recommended b/c of this but again, perhaps it was me?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A bit messy and smelly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was eager to receive this product because I have various areas outside/inside the home I want to seal. I've never used a product l like this so I decided to use it as a test.
The spray can application at first seemed like a better idea, but after seeing it in action, I was disappointed. The spray zone was wider than I anticipated which lead to an overspray onto areas I didn't want covered.
The consistency was about what I imagined because it's basically liquid rubber that ends up a chunky spray that kind of smooths after drying.
The color was exactly as described and the product does seal and prevent water from penetrating after fully drying. I believe it took longer to dry because it's winter weather right now. I feel applying this product during a better season would have better results overall.
The worst thing about this product is the odor. I read the instructions and paid attention to where I was spraying making sure to have good ventilation, but even though I used it outdoors, I could still smell it coming into the home. It's has a very strong odor and doesn't fade as quick as I would have l liked. It almost reminded me of the smell of gasoline.
The clean up was more difficult than I had hoped. I tried scrubbing it off areas of my hands that got covered from scrubbing the areas of the house that the overspray came into contact with. I had to use a heavy duty hand scrub just to remove to small spots on my hand and still have find something to remove it from the areas of my home I didn't want sprayed.
Overall it's a good product that does what it is supposed to do, but there are certainly drawbacks and a bit of a learning curve. Better weather and more personal trial and error could have made this experience excellent.

Dried fast, sealed good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the flex seal to patch some leaks in the roof on my RV. It is easy to apply. It dried fast. I did some right before rain came and it still sealed that spot. If the color matches what you’re doing you can hardly see it.
