Works on some applications, but not cost effective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product can work. It's most effective if you spray it on the intended area in three separate coats, allowing each coat to dry 2-3 hours before the next. Then, allow to sit for 24 hours.
Out of all the uses, I can confirm it does fairly well on small holes in gutters, hoses of various kinds(not hoses that will experience high heat), and some roof applications.
This stuff is NOT a permanent solution.
With that said, the issue I have with this is twofold:
1. It's not really cost effective. I'm not going to name other products since this is a review, but there are many other solutions that are cheaper and will yield similar results. In fact, there's an automotive based product that's nearly identical to this but 1/3 of the price.
2. It's not immediate. Theoretically, you'd use this in an emergency. Well, in an emergency, you'll need faster results than 24 hours.
In sum, if you use three coats and follow drying/cure times, yes, this can and does work for shorterm fixes. However, it's not a true emergency solution and it's far more expensive than a few other products that will accomplish similar results.
So, I can recommend it because I've confirmed it works, but I'd suggest you seek other options unless this is on sale.

It worked for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a leak in my gutter and used this to seal it at the corner seam , so far no problems with the gutter, it worked as expected. Also had small nail holes on my shed roof sprayed all nail holes and no leaks ,love this product.

I used this product and it worked awesome. No more leaks and it saved me alot of money. I recommend this product to anyone.

I spayed this on the inside all around the house and this weeks its been raining for 2 day and not one leak. The only thing i wish i could have found it in white but either way this was easy and it worked

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this FLEX SEAL COLORS - Black just to see what the hype was and it actually worked i used it on a flower pot that was cracked allways leak water it actually sealed it took me by surprise didnt think it really works bit it did now om glad i tried it have me looking for more stuff to seal thanks for gpod products

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've seen all the commercials and thought they were funny gimmicks i.e. sealing a boat but man, does this stuff live up to the hype. Couldn't be happier with this sealant. It goes on thick and is extremely difficult to puncture.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to admit, I absolutely love this product. My gutters were leaking and I called a contractor to fix them. He told me he was very busy and would come over and fix ASAP . After little thought, I decided to use the flex seal and see if this would fix the problem. Amazingly it worked great. I no longer need to wait for the contractor to come and charge me an astronomical amount for some thing that only took me 15 min. Another bonus is telling my wife that I fixed it myself. I also decided to use in my bath tub . Where the caulking was beginning to leak. Again worked great with little work involved aside from spraying the flex seal on. I just love this product.

Flex seal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like trying new things that help solve old problems. I like to think outside the box. With that being said, I own a 1971 GMC 1 ton truck named jigsaw. It has holes and cracks under the dash in the firewall and heater box. Those holes let alot of cold air in during the winter. I got this can of flex seal to see if it lived up to all their claims and boy, did it! It sealed ALL if the cracks and holes with very minimal effort! It does have an odd smell, but it didn't bother me too bad. The spray nozzle did get a bit clogged up, but I was able to wipe it off and continue using it.
I would recommend it to anyone who does their own repairs. I cant wait to use it on all my other projects!
