Love the multipurposeness (yes, I also invent my own words!) of this item. Not only can it charge your device using electricity, it can also charge it through your computer's USB port. It is a must have for any Samsung tablet and I highly recommend it.

The cord does what it's supposed to do, charge your tablet, but makes it very hard to use your tablet while charging. The card is too short to be plugged into the wall, and use the tablet while sitting in a chair right next to the outlet. The cord is only about 3 feet long, so you'll need to buy a dedicated extension cord to go with this charger, because wherever the charger goes, so should your extension cord. The usb end of the cord will not work with a car charger with a usb port, a computer, or most in the wall chargers with a usb port. Just plan on always charging your tablet with the oem plug it came with, and when your not using your tablet.
Pros: works as a data cable too., secure connection
Cons: cord is too short, plug is too big, does not work with other plugs
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Travel Adapter fell apart in less than a year

Metal electric tab that plugs into the electric plug broke off in the plug. Had to turn off electricity to that spot to get the electric tab out. Had this adaptor less than a year.
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
