I reviewed the installation instructions before the dishwasher was delivered and was surprised that the water feed connection on the dishwasher was not included. Before I could tell the distributer to include one, he already had. That would be my only complaint with Kitchen Aid. Installation was easy, the dishwasher is extremely quite and dishes come out clean...

Very pleased with my Kitchen Aid dishwasher-the features I like are this machine is so quiet, the racks slide out so easily, plus it does a very good job cleaning the dishes and etc.
I am surprised how many dishes and utensils will fit in it, especially like the small tray on top rack that I can put miscellaneous items (like a whisk & measuring cups).
Pleased with our purchase and would recommend it to others.

So quiet...that I only know that the dishwasher is functioning when I observe that the blue light is on! This dishwasher is one of the appliances chosen as part of recent total kitchen renovation...down to the studs. I actually surrendered a slightly older model of Bosch (which was in the kitchen when we bought the house) that was potentially salvageable. However, the interior of the older Bosch drove me nuts, one, because it was smaller (shorter depth) and, two, because the narrow slanted racks made it difficult to load with more than a few items. In the three months that we have owned this Kitchen, it has performed beautifully. Using a "normal" wash cycle, our dishes come out squeaky clean. (I confess to rinsing and scraping my dishes thoroughly before loading them, even though the sales person told us that that task was totally unnecessarily with a Kitchen Aid; even baked on egg washes easily. The racks are designed to accommodate a heavy load of dishes and pots of various sizes. In short, I am very pleased with our purchase.

I have very mixed feelings about this dishwasher. It does a fine job of cleaning dishes and it is nearly silent when running. But the controls along the top edge of the unit are much too sensitive so that almost every time I open and close the dishwasher, I end up accidentally turning something on or off.
