I’ve had this microwave for several years— @ least 4– and it’s a wonderful oven. I bought it specifically to fit in a corner because of limited counter space. Looks more like a countertop TV than a microwave. It is perfect fit. So glad I googled around and found it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the microwave as we wanted something tiny for our cottage that would tuck into a corner. It works great for our needs. If you cook or use large items this is not for you as the interior is even smaller than the outside. If you want to just reheat or pop in a cup for tea this is a great small size.

We bought one these, at least 7 yrs ago, just for the two of us and it has been the best thing ever! It's turntable is plate size only, so it won't hold casserole dishes, but if you are just looking for a quick warm up a plate of food, or thaw meat, etc., this is a great deal. Plus it saves room by fitting into a corner!

Great Little Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to save counter space. It does. For what we use it for, (reheating, heating water, vegetables, small jobs) it has worked flawlessly. It is not as tall inside and some coffee mugs would not fit. The controls are limited, but we found it easy to just keep adding 30 secs the quickest way to use it.

Why aren’t more microwaves like this

I bought mine 5 years ago and it’s still going strong. The small size takes up little space on my counter and fits neatly in corners that are otherwise hard to use. (I’ve moved it about over the years.) The super simplicity of the controls is wonderful. It heats evenly and defrosts quickly. The only thing I would change is to have the default defrost setting be for 1 lb and not 1.5 lbs. (How often do you defrosts 1.5 lbs of anything?) That’s a very small change indeed.
I want to buy another as a Xmas present for my daughter but the shipping delays are holding me back.

Perfect fit!

Getting small refrigerators, stoves, etc is no big deal but getting a small microwave to handle all of the things that you would expect is no easy task. Whirlpool’s countertop fits in a corner and works like a champ!!
When my wife and I moved in to watch after my mother we needed a kitchen that works like a full size but with some space constraints. Our Whirlpool.5 cu foot countertop model handles everything we need and it doesn’t take up any space!! It literally fits in the corner.
