Fits in smaller spaces

The 2 main reasons why we purchased this set was we had an existing countertop (for folding) that we needed the set to fit under. The second reason was the value for the features. We have used for at least 3 months now and it is very quiet and easy to use.

This product is great. It has many different washing options from sanitize and allergen wash to gentle and hand wash cycles. It includes low to high spin speeds. Even though this product has many different wash cycle options I have found that the regular wash cycle works well in getting my clothes and linens even the bulky or heavy duty items clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Broken after only 3 years!

I had a pair of older model front load washer/dryer purchased in 2005. The washer drum/bearing made loud noise for few loads and then broken in 2011 (6 years in use). The dryer was still working fine. I then bought this model as a replacement for the washer. Last week, it started making loud noise from the drum/bearing. And this week the MCU died with the error code F1-E2. I searched the web up-and-down and also on Whirlpool website and tried all suggestions I found in hope of fixing the problem. None were working. This one last only 3 year! I gave up and will try different brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Failed at 3 years

Bought this 3 years ago. Catistrophically failed. Needs to be replaced now. Should I buy another Whirlpool?? Not after experiencing the awful quality of this one. I'm very disappointed because I WANT to like Whirlpool... but I can't trust that their products will live more than 3 years.

My new washing machine is wonderful. It has a small load feature that I use all the time (with just me and my husband at home now and all the kids are gone) that is complete in just 28 minutes.

As mentioned earlier, I like the looks of this washer and the functionality. I don't like that if there's only one or a few items in the load, it doesn't do so well with the spin cycle. It shows one minute remaining and 5 minutes later, it's still going! (Maybe I just haven't read the manual well enough.)

This product is very easy to use. The settings are great and it is energy saving. The sound level is very minimal, which is a plus. The only complaint is that the size seems to be smaller than your standard top load washing machine, other than that it works FANTASTIC!!
