Great Product Saves A Lot of Money

I do march to my own Drummer and as I replace my appliances they are black. No stainless steel.
Have not baked a cake as yet but the other features work great.
In the old GE Profile (18 yrs & it was still working) was the reason that I decided to get another GE product. I am not sorry, as it takes 1/2 the time to do things as the retired one.

All around great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this microwave as a replacement for another GE Microwave. This is our first convection oven as well. We love that fact that we can bake items in the oven as a secondary oven when the large oven is being used. This microwave has multiple applications that we haven't even used all of them yet but looking forward to trying them.

Love the convection oven!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great, love the extra features (when time is done automatically have the option for a little more cooking time). Love, love, love the convection oven features. Have hardly used the new convection double oven I bought because this microwave is so great at baking! Don't like the cost of the carbon filter (if not vented to the outside). In a smaller kitchen I have a hard time storing the metal racks when not in use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the Micro/Convection combo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a 10 yr old GE microwave with this unit. The new features, turntable,convection, timers,ect. have made this a good choice for us.
The only problem so far is the filters are easy to dislodge and fall onto the stove top.
Great appliance to own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The microwave fits my space perfectly. It is very sharp looking and performs well. The motor is very loud, however. I wish that it had "quick" buttons. On my previous GE, I could press the "2" to heat for 2 minutes. On this model, I have to set the time cook with the dial. I have not tried the convection feature yet, but I think it will be a great feature when cooking holiday meals when I need more convection space.

The microwave was extremely easy to install. The distributor delivered it in a professional manner. If there is a short fall, it is that the charcole filter was not included in the box.
