First off, I REALLY like this phone. it does everything I could ask it to, and does it quickly. Only things I have found is that my fat fingers don't work well with Swype. Much easier to use the Samsung keyboard option. And, the Voice to text doesn't always work either. The results can be hilarious, but frustrating. Plusses.. good signal, decent range. Beautiful display. Easy to use once you figure out how. The owners manual could be a bit better. I would like an option in the power settings.. Always on when plugged in.
Snappy phone with amazing camera. Still needs polish.

I was an original Droid owner and my phones abilities to keep up were fading fast. I remember seeing many commercials for the original Samsung while overseas and was highly intrigued about the version two that was going to be released.
In the end I picked this phone over another Motorola because of the amazing customer service and quality of Samsung screens. I have been very impressed with the progress the company has been making and hope what little bugs and problems there are with this phone are ironed out completely in the future.
Keep up the excellent work!
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight, amazing camera, super fast!
Cons: Not high def, gps buggy, interesting problems with car dock, slippery back, amature lock screen, lack of nfc
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's simply amazing that there this much power in such a small, light package. Well done.
This device is great overall. Fast, beautiful screen, thin, good battery life. The main things keeping it from being a 5 are bugs:
- There is an audio bug that causes many games to crash. - The phone sometimes completely loses coverage when it shouldn't (known as the LOS bug).
The screen is also pretty big, maybe a tad bigger than I'd like it, since it can be hard to reach the top corners with my thumb.
I deal with a lot of different Android devices for work, and aside from the bugs I mentioned, this one is easily the best I've used. If the bugs can be addressed, I'd change my rating to 5.
Purchased this phone for my wife about a month ago.. and she loves it! She was previously using an HTC Evo 4G that was giving her some problems. Her favorite feature is the awesome clarity and quality of the photos that this phone takes. Way to go Samsung! A+++
this is my first smart phone and so I'm some what slow to learn some of the basic uses of it. I became interested in this phone because of a friend of mine that I watched use theirs and became interested in what they were able to do with it. As my learning curve is increasing, things that I find to be needed is a bigger battery life when you are out on the road and not able to have access to charging it all the time.... also having the volume controls on the top and the on off controls on the opposite side of the phone I find myself when I'm using the camera and other things I would be turning it on the side to see the bigger screen, I'm always grabbing it where these controls are located and all of a sudden I have a mess going on.... The phone is exceptional most of the time.... I look forward to learning how to use all the many options of the different aspects of its ability.
