The Sprint Bloatware is just too much!

First off, the phone is phenomenal. I just switched from Apple and I am very happy with my decision. The Galaxy SII is fast, reliable, and does what it is supposed to do without any fuss.
I am a huge fan of the dimensions of the phone. When I first purchased the phone I was scared I might not adjust to the new size. In the end, the phone is slim, light, and the screen is amazing.

There are two reasons I can't rate my phone 5 stars and both are due to Sprint.
1. The bloatware is horrific. I purchased an Android phone to get away from Apple telling me what I should like and now I have Sprint doing it.
2. Sprint's slight design changes have made it so none of the existing cases on the market fit.

Connectivity issues

I've had this phone for almost 7 weeks and overall I like it a lot & would recommend it to others. It's got a great screen & is very responsive. What needs improvement is bluetooth & Wi-Fi connectivity reliability. Initial pairing of bluetooth devices is generally easy & works well but there's a problem where bluetooth devices sometimes don't reconnect and the only way to reconnect is to completely power off the phone & then restart it. Making an initial Wi-Fi connection with a wireless router is ridiculously difficult, even when your standing 3 feet away from the router! I've encountered initial connectivity issues with all 3 routers that I own. Why do I get an out-of-range error message when I'm standing 3 feet away from the router?? Generally, subsequent wi-fi connections occur quickly, usually within 2 or 3 seconds. How come I can't get the phone to stop searching for Wi-Fi routers that I will never connect to? Also, I really dislike the positioning of the power button on the side of the phone - I accidentally power on phone all the time.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: wi-fi & bluetooth connectivity problems

Totally Awesome Phone!

I'm not convinced that the title of this review is actually as extreme as this phone really is. This phone is more powerful than most of the computers I have owned over the years, packed with great apps, and backed by Samsung. I'm still exploring its limits, but super pleased with my choice.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, best phone on market

Great Smart Phone at a Great Price

My first touch screen smart phone. I was a Blackberry owner for a long time and decided to upgrade to a touch screen. After looking at several smart phones I decided on the Gallaxy S 2 Epic. It's a great phone for the price and the screen is great.

this phone by far is the best ive ever owned no downsides at all my phone was manufactured on oct 10 2011 so any problems some have posted on here i dont have the reception is great the 4g when in the coverage area is super fast with the big processor it has i like the big screen with great colors takes excellent pictures for those who think the plastic feels cheap get a cover invest a extra 20 and get insurance from your carrier i dont think the plastic feels cheap i like the fact that it fits in my hand good its light the music player and you tube never skip the games ive tried move fast and on the whole it blows the iphone away faster speeds better system android gingerbread bigger screen and the photo editor is excellent my battery works fine too i say best phone on the market right now very easy to use which to me is great

Sprint Epic Touch 4G

I was previously an EVO 4G owner, and I must say, switching from that to this S2 is the best decision I have made regarding a phone. The weight difference, the speed, and the resolution are all majors pros. I recommend this phone, no matter what carrier you are with.
