Used to be a good phone

This phone is supposed to be the iphone killer. Well it was def in contention when it first came out. Now since the new android upgrade not so much. The features on this phone are great, the screen is the brightest there is, the phone is fast, etc. Now all that aside, be prepared to be looking for an outlet wherever you are (google this it is a widespread problem with this phone and there is no fix). This phone used to get me a full 12-24 hours, now it is luckily to get 7 hours, and that is just with making phone calls. A lot of people are unbelievably overlooking this and saying smartphones are only supposed to get 6-7 hours...right, go see how many hours an iphone gets with constant use! Hopefully Samsung can fix this, but they sure are taking their sweet time. All the advanced features of the phone are no good if its dead.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: battery life
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall, this is a very good phone. The only downside would be the lack of widgets. I really don't like the fact that I have to go through the settings to turn on 3G, compared to my previous phone(HTC EVO), where I would just press a toggle button widget to turn it on.
Poor reception and distorted sound on video recording

Great features, screen. Average phone, poor reception of Sprint signal. Battery life, poor. Very good camera. Great looking video.
Too bad videos or sound recording of great memories of kids concerts, sports and similar activities are worthless - due to distorted sound. The limiter auto gain control is not implimented properly and this phone/camera can't handle any sound above a normal conversation without clipping distortion. Both my wife and I have the same phones - same problem.
So far, I'm loving this phone. It's speedy, its display is gorgeous, and the software isn't too much of a hassle, compared with some other companies' built in software... ahem.
I couldn't find a more advanced phone for purchase anywhere!

Well I almost bought the HTC Evo untill I had the specs sheets side by side. It seemed to be the Samsung GalaxyS2 Epic 4G touch SPH 710 had better engine powering the latest up to date softwere there is advalible! I recomend you buy this phone above all other "knock offs!"
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, over a gig of ram, a 1.2 dual core processor
