Pros: Bright, clear Super AMOLED Plus display, superb performance excellent camera Cons: bloatware/preloaded apps that you can't rermove, plastic build Bottom Line: It is slim and speedy, excellent web browsing and watching video, but the plastic design feels a bit on the cheap side.

The phone is lightweight, beautiful screen, quality pictures from the camera, the processor is fast. But, "very" poor signal/reception especially for data (not because of carrier), the battery drains faster than expected (especially since it loses 1% immediately after unplugging from a "full" charge), stock charger causes intermittent issues with the touchscreen (actually phone may not be useable while plugged into AC with the stock charger), poor user manual (more options with this phone than explained), and Samsung not admitting to any of the faults. The poor quality rating (in the cons) is because of the noted defects which should have been "fixed" before the release of the phone. The phone has been out for nearly 6 weeks and no maintenance release with issues that have been "reported" to both Samsung (actually no admittance to issues) and mobile carrier. Sorry Samsung and mobile carrier, I cannot recommend this phone to anyone at this time. Maybe if the signal issues and battery drain are fixed, I would recommend because this "could be" an awesome phone.
This is a nice phone if you do not mind going backwards with your technology, but it’s the HD version that I am really interested in. The phone I want is a High Definition Galaxy S II HD with 4G and a awesome 4.65-inch Super AMOLED HD screen at 1280x720. The new HD phone has a slight spec bump from the original Galaxy S II with a 1.5GHz dual-core SoC, presumably an up-clocked Exynos. The internal storage and camera both come in the same at 16GB and 8MP respectively. The Super AMOLED HD is a little bigger than other Galaxy S II phones at 4.65-inches. When you do the math on a screen the size and resolution of this new Super AMOLED HD, you come up with a pixels per inch (PPI) of 316. For reference, a 800x480 screen at 4.3-inches like most of the Galaxy S II phones is only 216 PPI. The prospect of super crisp 720p video playback and high resolution apps are very intriguing. the Google Nexus Prime, or at least that’s what we think it will be called. We don’t know much about this guy, but we hear that it will sport a large 720p super AMOLED display, 4G, and an OMAP440 processor.
Rumors everywhere that the upcoming HD phone will have Android 4.0 "Ice Cream Sandwich" installed.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Not high def, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

super fast, no lag. Screen is amazing. It doesnt even feel big in your hand.
This phone far exceeds anything else on the market. It performs quickly, and is reliable and the battery life is also excellent. I am a heavy user getting a full day out of the device.
