well coming from Evo 4g. I must say this phone has blown my expectations. I only have 2 concerns. 1 ability to print to any wireless printer native support. 2. A hard chrome protective ring around,the screen,to add a,touch of class with protective benefit. Samsung thank you thank you I will keep it por vida.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

i bought this phone because of its vibrant colors, lightweight and easy to use.
I can easily play music and videos on this phone. Sound is good to.
love my galaxy S 2 epic.

best video and camera quality on the market, even as compared to the iphone 4s. display is really good.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight

Having used other products, I have experienced most popular OS and I have to say the hardware and Android OS combo of the Epic 4G Touch is the best so far! The combinations of a feature rich OS and the TouchWhiz interface along with rocking hardware sets this phone way ahead of the competition! I was waiting for the next gen from other popular models, but I jumped to Epic 4G Touch and I have to say, no regrets!

Nice looking, but horrible performance

The phone itself is nice looking, and relatively fast. However, it has the worst GPS capabilities I have ever seen. I've tried resetting, hard rebooting, multiple apps..everything I could possibly think of, and the GPS still takes forever to "find" me. And when it does, its so far off, usually putting me literally 1/2 a mile or more away. The next problem is the battery. When the phone isn't displaying, and just sitting there, the battery life is great. However, once I turn the display on - you know, actually use the phone - I can watch the battery life drop. Again, I've tried different settings, having my brightness set at 10%, making sure to close out of programs, but still, the batter life can't make a complete day at work. The third problem is the heat this thing puts off. Generally its OK, but if I use navigation or 4g, the thing get extremely hot. I'm afraid of it damaging itself because of the heat. Unfortunately, I'm stuck in a contract and cannot exchange the phone at this point. I just have to buy a spare battery so I can have the phone with me.

Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, horrible gps

Phones ok, but has its problems

I like the phone in general. But I am only posting this review to inform people of some of its problems.
Sometimes my signal is not very good and my phone will roam even in an area that is on sprints map saying it should have 4g coverage. Sometimes I also have full signal strenth in the exact same spot.
Speaker is in a bad spot. When ever I am holding it sideways i always end up covering it with my finger.
When I run some apps they freeze up so i have to take the battery out. But if i run the same app on a friends phone. which is also a newer LG google phone it has no problems with the apps. Which should not happen at all with a dual processor.
When I receive picture mail my phone keeps on saying they are downloading.
I have also had a couple calls that were garbled.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, drop calls, wont send or receive picture mail, freezes while running apps, wont connect to 3g or 4 g
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
