This is an very exciting and easy to use phone. I just hate the Battery Use! The battery use is awful, won't last for 5-hours even with limited use. Seems I'm always charging it or changing out batteries.
I had to buy a 1/2 dozens of batteries and a couple of wall chargers, and carry (2) batteries in my pocket at all time. I hate to be lost somewhere and can't be found when the battery goes. The phone was checked out and turned off alot of apps and that phone still drains juice.
Charge it over night, unplug it in the morning, go to work which is less than a 1/2-hour, then the battery meter reads 50% before I sit down at my desk......Strange!
I like the phone so much I got (3) of them and recommend it to others. Thats why I give the performance a "3" because of the battery issues.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: battery issues
I would recommend this to a friend!

Awesome phone, favorite yet .. waiting on my Note II and im sure it will exceed my expectations. nothing is Better than samsung, works great with my Chronos series 7!
Have had this phone for roughly a year and a half. Use it primarily for work, on it all the time. Never had any issues with phone, been dropped several times and keeps on ticking. Great job Samsung, just hope the next Samsung mobile phone I get is as good as this one has been to me.
I have never found reason to write a cellular review until now

This is my first and perhaps last written review of a cellular product. I am technologically perceptive. I build and troubleshoot high-end computers (most of which remain relevant years later), write software, tweak my cars/motorcycles and enjoy the status of being a gourmet chef. Improvement is something I have come to expect with the passage of time. Advances do not easily impress me as we live in an age wherein it is to be expected. Every now and then, products come along that dominates/redefines all others in its class, for me that product is the Samsung Epic 4G Touch or any of its derivatives. This phone is in every way my biggest single leap forward in the past ten years of owning high-end mobile devices. The raw power is inspiring given the seamless application of it in a form factor that is amazing. I am certain the future will produce more iconic mobile devices but for now, this is it! I could go on and on about things like the 130 apps I added that have not been unable to slow this thing down or the amazing browsing experience, the gorgeous screen or flexibility, but I'll stop short. Read reviews, compare, and go look at this amazing performer as I did, you will come away with a smile.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight, awesome camera

The Best Phone Yet

In just the past 8 days (since I have possessed my phone), I have become satisfied with how productive the Epic 4G Touch has made me. It has some very smart features that other phones lack. I find the user interface is easy to learn, and intuitive in most cases. I have been keeping track of the base Galaxy S II version through blogs since it premiered at the Consumer Electronic Show 2011 this past January in Las Vegas, anxious for its arrival here in the United States. Now, I have a great phone on a great network at an exceptional value. What more could I ask for? Thanks, Samsung and Sprint.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight, fast processing capabilities
I would recommend this to a friend!

First of all this is a fantastic phone. Probably the best phone I've ever used. It's so responsive. Is a great size and has the best screen I've ever seen. There are a few things that I am disappointed with. 1st. Social hub is a great program for viewing your posts but It lacks some of the features included with htc sense and Motorola blur. The major one is that viewing and posting on your wall seems to be the oly thing that you can do. It doesn't allow you to post on others wall (i.e would be on someones birthday). It also doesn't have photo or video integration. You should be able to upload photos and videos to your favorite social network as well as view photos and videos without having to download additional software. Next would be the need for support of other networks besides Facebook and twitter. Specifically I would like to see support for Google +. 2nd would be the exclusion of game hub from the US version. I was really looking forward to this and was very disappointed that It wasn't included. 3rd and final was the decision to use the Qualcomm QSC6085 chip instead of one of the newer chips like the MDM6600 which is included in the evo 3d. The newer chips provide better signal strength and reliability and also supports rev B and A meaning that if rumors are true and sprint does upgrade to rev b then this phone will not supported but both the Motorola photon and the evo 3d will. I stress that over all I am extremely satisfied with this phone.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, very responsive, great quality camera
Cons: social hub (see review), qualcomm qsc6085 chip (see review), game hub not included (see review)
