This phone is really good! The only thing I don't like is that Samsung takes FOREVER to give out the updates for Android. Besides that, it's a really good phone.((:
This phone has many features, takes awesome pictures. signal strength is sometimes questionable. but phone is easy to use. The one problem that has occurred with the Ice cream update, though is that if I have wireless on, someone calls, the phone will hangup the call within 30-45 seconds in the call. The 2nd problem is, if the wifi is on, the phone reboots by itself, multiples times throughout the day. As long as I keep the wifi off, the phone is fine. 3rd problem that occurred with the update, is the battery dies so much faster. . Otherwise the the Quality of the phone and all it's features are great.
I have used many cell phones and have realized that the more powerful they become the more security and recovery issues need to be created. Before the cloud, phone numbers would be lost if a phone was broken. Well data on the phone could be stored on a separate untouched partition or stored on the cloud. Apart from this issue, my biggest problem is the battery time and the slowness of the processor when applications are running. This phone was supposed to be so much better than what I experienced. Lastly the ginger bread and ice cream sandwich updates destroyed the phone by inhibiting swype and killing roming data connections. I have seen the newer model and the Note II, and I hope these concerns were addressed, but probably not. All in all, I would not get this phone again or recommend it to a friend.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, short battery life, firmware updates not completely supported
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

...but the one thing I do not like is the TwLauncher error msg and that the screen goes black every now and then. Oh and the shutter sound on the camera...you can't mute it. Other than that...I dig it so much that I will be getting the III tomorrow actually instead of the iPhone 5. How about that!!! Please fix that shutter and hopefully you can add "blocking" to the contact address book to avoid those annoying callers. Thanks so much Samsung
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Lightweight, quick start up
I would recommend this to a friend!

Have had this phone for about 6 months and I still love it! Screen if big and beautiful with a very fast processor. Camera takes unbelievable pictures. Love the fact that it uses a standard USB cord and not some proprietary cord. Have mine in a Ballistic rubber/hard back case which improves the wear and tear greatly (especially on the construction sites). Great sound for the MP3s too. One of the best things is that you don't have to have all of the programs you download on the pages. The ability to flip from page 7 to page 1 is cool too, instead of flipping all the way backwards.
