i had this phone for about 9 days.. it was terrible. i had about no cellular signal, and WiFi only worked when i was right next to my router. the phone was slow and lagging, soft navigation buttons either didn't work or were very slow to respond.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, slow and lagging, poor signal quality including wifi, buttons too sensitive
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I never give a review for a product I have purchased, but this device merits my time to sit and say something positive.
This has been my most favorite phone, hands down, of all the phones I have had over the years.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight
Cons: not big enough
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best Smart Phone I Ever Bought

This is indeed the best Smart Phone I ever bought, and I've bought a few even the iPhone 4s is no contest. Well worth every dollar paid.
First off..., I'm not a person to come onto a manufactures website and write a review of a my phone. I really, really have to have the want & need to express myself to others especially about a phone and my experience with it.
I'm not sure how I'm making the time to write a review but I thought I'd get my point across to those who are considering a Samsung phone for future purchase (Samsung please read). This is likely the first and last time I purchase a Samsung phone. Why?! you might ask... Well, I had high hopes for my pone (Coming from a Nokia that lasted 5 years from AT&T). It was time to try something different so I went with Sprint and one of the latest and greatest phones (at the time of release) the Galaxy S2 Epic 4G touch. I purchase this phone the first week of Sept of 2011 and man was it awesome. So much to learn and wow is the screen beautiful. I felt like I was missing out on technology so much when I got this phone. It feels at first a little plasticy compared to those other phones from you know who but still solid.
My first 3 months were perfect until update #1... when they removed different features (scrolling wallpapers and I paid for cool live wallpapers that looked awesome when it scrolled) and much more. It's not fair that other Samsung phones still feature this.
After a half-year of usage things became progressively worse. Updates made my phone crash so much more, GPS worked less, Lots of glitches with Emails, typing and swipe features, Phone would randomly turn off or freeze. I did so many resets that I became a pro.
Now with the latest update (FH13) this phone is intolerable and worse then my family members old HTC Evo's battery. Battery life is so poor that if the phone stays in my pocket for less then 6hr it would be less then 25% Battery. My phone is running and tuned for the least amount of battery drainage. The screen modes under display is useless as the phone seems to have poorer resolution compared to the old updates. The talking feature is useless, I can't watch a HD video without worrying about the battery. Browsing the internet or reading my books have to be attached to a wall socket to not kill the battery.
I honestly can't wait to my contract is up to try another manufacture phone... Why? Well at least they might update the with the latest Android OS and not mega months later...! See..., Samsungs problems is... To many phones and trying to make newer ones were as lets say iPhone...., 1 phone and its fine tuned to be just about perfect... Even there old iphone 3 gets updates and revisions on the OS. Samsung seems to forget about the good old phones and quickly comes out with a better phone several months later.
Samsung I had Hi hopes for this phone... And now I'm looking forward to get me another phone from some one else. I would give you more reasons but I need to charge my phone now as its dead....
:-(
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, took away the good and gave me bad battery life., updates could be sooner and more refined., make the stock apps better espeacially the camera, refine the apps it already has and make them beter, keep product support
I would recommend this to a friend!
