It was time to Upgrade and the Samsung Galaxy S™ II, Epic™ 4G Touch was the right choice. Works great and full of great features. The phone has a quick response when using apps and other functions. It Displays my files quickly and very readably.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: you may want an extended battery
I would recommend this to a friend!

Especially my new GS2. Great phone, only thing I don't like is when its roaming, the menu bar pops up frantically. Its annoying!!! Other than that, I'm happy with my purchase!
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: excessive menu bar pop up when roaming

Overhyped, overpriced, underpowered, broken.

Great phone, great screen. Now design a battery that can support it. My phone has reached 117 degrees surfing the internet with the brightness turned up. Recently it started thinking the usb cable was attached to a computer and then locking up. A few factory resets by The Sprint Store later and it won't start up at all. For what they cost I could have bought a tire for my truck. Probably should have. Won't buy another Samsung product without a week long test.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Way Better Smart Phone

I have had many issues with other Android Devices, the mainly the EVO 3D & EVO 4G from Sprint. I have also had the Motorola Photon, HTC Arrive, & BlackBerry Style. This device is awesome and stylish in white, i got sick of the all black phones that I got white cases for them. This phone blows all the other phones I have out of the water and in my opinion even the I phone cannot compete. I would of went with Samsung Galaxy 3, but Sprint doesn't have LTE in the area and you can get the Samsung Galaxy S 2 on the cheap.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

Great phone but not perfect

This phone is great, fast, works really great, lots of memory, great features. Love that the recent ICS upgrade allows me to operate Music even while phone is locked. Also love ability to restart phone!
However, there are some improvements that I'd suggest to increase usability:
1 - Enable ability to swipe left and right between Emails (like in Gmail app) and between text messages.
2 - Get rid of that battery consuming Sprint ID!
3 - There were some serious disappointments with recent ICS upgrade - email in Email app no longer download on their own (even though it is set to download "ALL"), why do I have to scroll to bottom of email to press a button to download content of message? What a WASTE of my time! Also, unless I haven't figured it out, the call log no longer gives duration of calls and I can no longer read history of communication with each contact - what if I simply want to know when last I called someone? Favorites list now has giant pictures of contacts - forcing you to scroll much more if the person you want to contact is at the bottom of your list. Not major things but they are annoying and certainly make me use my phone LESS.
