I decided to pull the trigger when Amaz** had a awesome price right before christmas. I knew I was in the market for a new phone, and went to check out and play with phones a few times, and read a ton of things online. After getting the phone, I find it really easy to use, and very enjoyable to own. I totally love Swype, as well as having access to 4g or wifi. The screen looks beautiful and the phone reacts well and fast. I suggest getting a case of some sort, because it's slippery, even with the textured back.
I've had this phone for a couple of months now, and I still find myself held in occasional moments of awe. This device is a dream.
Everything runs so smoothly! I upgraded from a HTC Hero, and that thing always seemed like it was struggling to execute even the most mundane tasks. But this little bugger has yet to even flinch. I'd be curious to see how many things I could get running on this S2 before it gets sluggish, or if that's even possible at all.
I was worried I'd find the large size of the phone annoying, but frankly with the ever expanding functionality of such devices these things are becoming more laptop than phone and the extra "desktop space" is a real pleasure to work with. Besides, more area led to less girth - this thing is thin as a pencil.
Finally, and I know this is going to sound funny, but I love swiping my finger across this screen. It's like gliding your finger across a melting slab of ice or an air hockey table. A bit accident prone, soon after purchase I bought a rubber cover and one of those protective films to protect the screen, but I ended up scrapping the film because it robbed me of that joy.
Anyway, just wanted to gush for a moment. My hats off to ya, Samsung.
Pros: bang for buck, screen size, processing power

Love all the features and keep finding more uses for my Galaxy.
Voice Talk needs work. Great concept but very buggy and needs feature revamp.
Need to be able to do batch email deletes and empty the trash folder in the native email client. Have to do by clicking one at at time...twice.
Radio could be better but acceptable in metro areas.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, lots of storage and takes mini sd card, great camera
Cons: some native apps are buggy and cannot be removed, radio needs to be better
I would recommend this to a friend!

If it were not for the Srpint network being inadequate where I live this phone would be superawesome. It still is a greatn piece of equipment.
Just an all-around excellent phone. Huge, clear screen, and great functions. Only dislikes are power button location (inadvertently pushed often; should be on top), camera "click" (would like to be able to turn off), and notification sound cannot be individually controlled for some items. Otherwise, this is pretty close to a perfect phone.
Cons: power button location, notification sound control, cannot turn off camera sound
I would recommend this to a friend!

love this this, i switched from iphone 4s to this phone, i had iphone since iphone 1 was out... i couldnt resist the screen size and over all quality of the galaxy s2 phone.. i purchased 1 for myself and the wihte one form my wife. and she loves it.
I have a HTC EVO 4G for my personal phone and I have gone through several iPhone 3G and 4G phones for my work phone. I needed a new work phone so I was thinking of getting a 4S but I was reading reviews and this phone kept beating the 4S in all categories and have the Sales Reps let me try both - the Epic 4G Touch won hands down!
It's such an amazing device that I went back to swap numbers so the EVO 4G became the work phone and I started using the Epic 4G for personal.... That lasted about 2 weeks - I went back to the store and replaced the EVO 4G with another Epic 4G Touch but this one is white.
I love this device so much that now both my phones are Epic 4Gs!
