Love this phone

I love this phone....the Galaxy SII is a world class phone and would earn 5 Stars if it were not for the radio. Reception issues plague this phone, hopefully Samsung will improve their radios.
Luckily Sprint roams on Verizon, so I've always got a signal, just wish the radio were more powerful.
Great screen, fast performance, fluid interaction, Wimax when connected is fantastic.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, wicked fast
Cons: radio has very weak signal

I love My GSII. The display is amazing. The controls are responsive. Aesthetically, it is a nice phone. I only have two issues...
1.) It's plasticky. A little more aluminum in the build would help this surprisingly durable handset FEEL durable. As it is, the GSII feels kind of cheap... Fortunately, that does not appear to be the case.
2.) The OS. I would be rating this handset higher if it were running an ICS build. Right out of the box, the handset's OS does not take full advantage of the available hardware. I don't reflash my handsets as I have no desire to void my warranty, so this is a little disappointing. Also, the lack of communication about when we will actually see the upgrade is disconcerting.
Otherwise, this is a remarkably stable, durable and attractive handset. I would suggest it to anyone who is looking for a phone that provides solid performance and clean aesthetics.
Additionally, the cameras on both sides of the phone are good quality and video recordins are great (for a phone).
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: no ics, feels "plasticky"

Samsung Galaxy II Epic 4G touch a sleek phone

I've had my Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch about two months. It's rather slick to just hold in a hand so I'd recommend a cover for it. I've got it covered with a Ballistic SG Drop Protection Cover. Great size for those of us with large hands.
Cost: I think it's a bit pricey for a phone.
Battery life: not so great. If I have heavy usage, it makes it about half a day. On most days, it lasts the day but has to be charged nightly. And I've messed with turning off pretty much everything - a day is as good as it gets.
Sound quality: Crystal clear sound through the phone as well as the bluetooth.
Voice to text: I like the voice to text and voice to docs and use it all the time. It has some issues (can't understand my child's name) but it's doable for most words. I suggest reading before sending though or you might be surprised. It's written some rather interesting emails and texts. Voice to text won't work at all in a noisy environment and that includes being in a car with just road noise - it couldn't hear a thing with the road noise.
GPS: If you plan to use it for GPS, get the dashboard holder for it so it's easily accessible. Unless you have someone else holding it who doesn't keep turning it over.
Silent mode: Figuring out how to keep any sounds from occurring was not without issue. "Silent mode" is not "silent" as the media and the alarms would still sound. The alarms I understand. I tried to use it as an alarm and kept getting woke up by little chirps (no clue what they were ... except irritating).
Display/Camera/Video: This has to be my favorite thing. The display is bright and clear. We stream Netflix on it. The camera is as good as the digital camera we bought a few years back. It doesn't like white backgrounds though. Video is good as well. I've recorded swim meets and the picture quality is awesome and the sound was realistic.
Durable: I haven't dropped it yet so I don't know how it will handle that. My one BIG complaint is that the glass isn't as durable as claimed. DO NOT put it in back pocket and sit down in a vehicle. I loaned mine to hubby for a two mile round trip in his truck (his had no charge). And the the glass cracked. Not happy about that as my old phone (a free one) was dropped so many times I had to replace the cover on it twice and its glass never cracked.
Overall, a good choice if you want a phone that does pretty much everything.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, video/camera, gps
Cons: not durable-glass cracked while in a back pocket

I would recommend this phone to anyone! It has a great display, easy to manage apps and widgets, and connects easily with my gmail account. The only con I would give it would be that the speakerphone is somewhat quiet. Other than that, great phone!

I Love this phone .Its size is good and the screen is perfect for me.The clarity is so clear and crisp.I keep discovering more and more with this phone.Theres plenty of storage and it never freezes.I would reccomend this phone to everyone who is looking for a great phone
