Great Device

Just bought it today 11/29 and hands down its awesome! i'm not a Apple fan, so this product is great, has a front facing and rear facing camera, has a SD slot for more space and it's touch response is awesome (it's not a cell phone, but it's so much better than my HTC Inspire)makes me wonder how great the Samsung Galaxy s2 is. I love that it's a no contract and all you have to do is connect to WiFi.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: no accessories yet, a little big but its better then a bulky tablet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Better than iPod Touch

I had the 2g iPod Touch and used it everyday for 2 years, and this is a huge upgrade from that. You can do anything on the Galaxy Player with Wifi. I chose the 4.0 over the 5.0 because of size and i wanted more of the cell phone look. Its a great device and i would recommend buying this over the iPod Touch anyday!
These Galaxy Players are amazing. I have two of them. We got them for our kids for Christmas. Tons of apps and games. It operates just like my Galaxy S2 and my kids like that. The displays is out of this world, movies look so vivid and clear. Sound is great, you can text from it and also set it up just like a phone to talk over Wifi or video chat too. We're an Android only house so this was a great fit.
I have had this player for a few weeks. major selling point was the ability to use a Micro SD card and, if needed, replace a battery. Two features lacking on the Apple iPod Touch. Like the other reviewers stated, the screen is vivid and clear and quite responsive. Access to the market has been great. I can access Apps with this that are not available through my phone. That has been a great benefit as well. There really are not any Cons at this point. I would like to see some protective cases offered in the near future.
