Safe Purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I think the Venahood is a great range hood with a sleek design and good performance. The stainless steel finish looks modern and fits well in my kitchen. The ventilation effectively removes smoke and odors, and the lighting is bright enough for cooking.
However, I’ve had some trouble with the touch pad controls. The control panel is positioned in a way that makes it difficult to access and operate comfortably. Sometimes, it gets stuck or doesn’t respond properly, which means I can’t easily turn the fan, adjust the lights, or change settings when I need to. This has been quite frustrating and diminishes the overall user experience.
Hopefully, future models will feature more responsive controls or better placement. Despite this issue, I still appreciate the hood’s performance and design, but the control panel needs some improvement. I have had to replace the power board twice already.

Range hood

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This range hood is stylish and looks very good in the new renovation. Beware if you have cathederal ceilings as the hood ventilation covers will need to be modified.
The ventlation is excellent with and works well on all speeds. I do find the unit loud when when on mdeium to high speeds. The timer feature is awkward in that you have to push the +/- button for each minute increment. It would be useful if you could just hold the +/- and time would advance or decrease.

Looks great, and the loud fan works well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We remodeled our kitchen in 2014 and installed a 35.25"-wide Bosch DKE9465MUC above our new Bosch 5-burner range. (The spark-ignitor on the front-left burner came loose soon after installation and does not work properly, but that is a separate topic).
This Bosch exhaust hood with its three high-conductance filters certainly does work well, except that it is VERY noisy, even on its lowest setting (on the highest setting, it sounds like a jet airplane on takeoff). I would have hoped that the Bosch engineers would have noticed that this hood is fabricated from sheet metal that acts as a sound-reverberation chamber and they might have isolated the fan and motor from all of this stainless steel by using some sound-absorbing materials.
Not the case.

Powerful hood

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Moderately easy to install. Functionally a five star product; LED w two levels really helps the cooking task and the vent is efficient as well. Sound levels are like most Hoods so don't expect a wisper.

Much better than what I used to have

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My previous hood was 1950's era (I think). It did very little and was a pain to clean. In comparison, this new hood is a dream. I love that I can put the screens in the dishwasher. On full power this hood is noisy but does a great job of taking smoke, moisture and grease out of the air. So far I haven't set off the smoke alarm once.
I would recommend this to a friend!
