Flawed and under-powered

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 300 Series Bosch Wall Hood fan looks great, but there are a few problems with it:
1. The control board is faulty, causing the fan speed not to correspond to the setting. The hood should have 3 speeds. Mine is less than 1 year old and the lowest and highest settings do not work, it only goes on the medium setting.
2. Under powered - If you like to cook, suggest a higher powered fan than this. I still have times when it won't suck up all the cooking fumes and causes our smoke alarm to go off.
3. Clean grease filter indicator - I think this indicator goes on after a certain number of hours the fan is on, not when the filter needs to be cleaned necessarily. This "dumb" indicator is just silly (and it goes on very quickly).
