Display problems

I bought a refurbished version of this player and it worked really well for about 9 months. Since then it has developed display problems. When I power it up or unlock it, I often get a white screen and sometimes a red registration problem. Neither the reset button or the device repair options have solved the problems. For a couple of months it was completely unusable and I almost threw it out in the garbage. It has since improved somewhat, although I still have the display problems. I have read other reviews where people have been experiencing the same problems as mine.
Pros: really good when it does work., a nice mini android tablet when it works.
Cons: display problems
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What an UPSET

This should be recalled. The screen breaks easily, the programs freeze, and you have to reset it every few minutes, which cause the battery to die quickly. It also has a terrible warranty, so the company will not fix it or replace it. WARNING: PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE THIS!!! This was suppose to be a present, now it is nothing. No more Phillips products for us, huge waste of money.
