Got for Christmas 2019. Blades lock positively and snugly. Love the Trigger pulls Up and not Backwards like the HB does. Blades track straight and true with no defection. Made quick work of a 13# Ham. Is also quieter than the HB, too..

EK500B?

I bought this knife on an extremely successful online store (rhymes with Ramazon). When I went to register my product, the only knife on the product list was the EK700. That makes me wonder if I bought a knife that has been pulled from the product lineup. It will be used for the first time tomorrow. I'm sure it will operate just fine. I hope this product (EK500B) has not been discontinued or recalled for some defect.
