Terrible design

Plastic gear that meshes with the metal worm gear on the motor stripped out after only a few light uses. Junk.

Best knife ever.

We use this knife every Wed. night for suppers. There is not a better knife anywhere.In a few years when we wear this one out, we will buy another one.

We've had this knife for years and never had a problem. I
do wish they did offer new blade replacements. Guess I can
try what the other gentleman did and resharpen it.

Very disappointed!

I bought this to replace an electric knife that I had for 20 years that finally stopped working. This B&D knife worked OKAY for about 2 or 3 cuts & now it's basically useless. I don't know if it's because it's dull or the blades aren't moving properly. I did notice that only one side of the blades seems to move.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Do not buy Model #EK700 like I did a couple months a go because the blades will not stay in it

Slices perfectly

I own several B&D products and have never been disappointed with the quality or if any issues happened, customer service has always been fantastic. This electric knife is adding to the list. I am using for slicing breads to meat and no problem. The blade easily cleans in the Dishwasher. This, for me, is another great B&D product.
I would recommend this to a friend!
