Cooking grate uneven

Hence pots and pans set unevenly and this interferes with the cooking process and increases the likelihood that pots/pans will tip over.I like the looks of the unit, the oven and how it bakes and the size and placement of burners---with the above caveat.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice Solid Stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been toying with the idea of buying a new gas range for years and finally found this one. It is everything I was looking for. The top grill is solid and sturdy with my large pans. The amazing thing is how much heat the large burners put out. I had to throttle back on my heat quite a bit compared to my old GE range. It is nice to have the extra output when heating up a fan. The oven works great I like the fact that the real temperature is on the panel so you can know when it's time to put items in when cooking a complex meal. The only issue I have with the range is that both brills must be removed to clean the top surface. But I suppose this is just something I will get used to.
