When my well used oven stopped heating properly I took time looking for a new gas range. I decide to go "all out" on this model and am so very glad that I did! It functions well and has a great amount of options, plus a fantastic amount of space on the top. I am very happy with my Whirlpool purchase from Schauls Gas Inc. in Durand, WI!

I totally love my Whirlpool Range. The 5 burners are so useful. It is great to have a simmer burner and the higher power burners to be able to cook different foods that require different heat. The oven is quite large and I like the idea that you can bake assorted things by how you position them on the racks on different levels. The convection oven is a time saver and cooks food evenly and faster. It is really convenient to have the broiler in the top of the oven. This way it is much easier to be able to see your food broiling and browning through the oven window. The oven light helps to be able to check and watch your food as it is baking or broiling. I like the idea that the oven light can be put on and used when the oven is in use by pushing the oven control buttom on the top of the stove and not opening the door to check on your food and to lose heat from in the oven. I also like the fact that the oven light comes on everytime you open the oven door, regardless as to whether you have the switch on the top of the stove on or off. The control panel on the top of the stove is very useful since it has the time of day displayed and also has a timer to track the length of time something needs to cook, plus it beeps to let you know when the time is up. I really like the feature that when you program the oven and set the temperature, as it heats to that temp you can watch and see that temperature raise on the display, but also the fact that it beeps a reminder to let you know that it has reached the set temperature. I have not used the self cleaning oven as of yet, but have been told that it works very nicely. I also like the drawer space on the bottom of the stove. It comes in handy to keep small pans or covers that I use often. I would highly recommend this Whirlpool Range to anyone who enjoys cooking or baking. I just love mine!!!

I am delighted with my new stove! It has many features. Ive been enjoying the fifth burner. Thats gonna come in handy with all the cooking we get done for the holidays.

it was the best deal for the money. we looked at another brand that was several hundred dollar more with the same features. you can slide pans from burner to burner. that is much nicer than our last gas range. the convection oven is faster and gives an even heat.it's just what we hoped for.

Love having the 5 burners

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a 25 year old Kenmore stove that was self cleaning and it worked real good still. I had to replace an igniter but that was all. But I had tried after I first got it to clean off the top and used a sos pad. Took the paint off. So now I have the beautiful stainless steel self cleaning oven. Works great. Only thing I noticed is that on my old stove when I was baking it held the heat in so it did not heat up the kitchen much except when it was doing the self clean. This new Whirlpool does heat up the kitchen when I am baking.
