[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product has been repaired 3 times: 2 times under warrenty and 1 time out of warrenty. The problem is cooling freezes up in the drain line and needs to be cleared with a steamer, from the top and bottom. This is over an 8 yr period.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator several years ago and it’s broken down at many times. LG made a faulty product and getting repairs and parts without having to pay additional fees has been extremely difficult. Never again!!!

Our compressor failed recently after 8 years and the warranty was honored which we were thankful for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this fridge just under 10 years ago, and thankfully for the 10 year warranty on the linear compressor, because it just went out and wouldn’t have been covered by most other brands. By LG covered the cost of the linear compressor and put me touch with the best appliance repairman I’ve ever worked with. The ice maker could be more insulated. If I don’t use ice too often it tends to melt and freeze back into a single brick which isn’t helpful.
