[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the look of this fridge and the features out but I would not buy it again. In fact, I probably would not buy LG again. we started having issues after a few years. Water and ice pooled in the bottom of the fridge. We had a repair person come. Seemed to improve for awhile then went back and was on and off a problem over the years. Had continual issues with the ice maker freezing up. Now, after only 6 years the fridge completely stopped working. After about 8 visits from a technician and replacing just about everything its back working but making a constant noise.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for the crushed ice and have not been disappointed. I also bought it because it was counter depth. I have enjoyed this refrigerator for 6 years and would recommend LG.

LG Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator several years ago and it has worked well for us except for one major problem. It constantly builds up lots of ice behind the left vegetable drawer. We have had it serviced once without any success. The technician dismantled a major part of the inside of the refrigerator and stated that air must be getting into the refrigerator and that the seals might not be making proper contact. He checked them all and concluded that we must not be closing the doors completely--WE ARE. It is frustrating and I really should have it serviced again.
Pros: ease of use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Solved all the problems with the 2012 model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator to replace a 2012 LG. We had been told not to stuff our 2012 because air needed to circulate, but we did and the compressor died. This LG has the best layouts, big produce drawers, and now the air circulation system has been relocated behind a stainless steel panel, so I don't have to think about it. This model totally got rid of the impossible-to-clean areas in the 2012 model and redesigned the confusing water dispenser that caused guests to get water all over the floor. The in-the-door ice maker no longer jams. It seems like every issue we had had was addressed. This is a beautiful refrigerator that does not get fingerprints, has great new lighting, and the fun bonus is the added billiard ball ice maker in the freezer. The dealer was really great and fast replacing a tempered glass shelf that shattered when I bumped it against the counter while I was doing an initial washing of it -- probably the change in temperature caused this. I seldom love appliances, but I really do love this French door refrigerator.
I had this fridge for 7 years before it broke down beyond viable repair. Anticipated it lasting longer. Would not recommend LG for fridge freezers after what the repair man had told me.

Jan. 6th, 2021 will be the 5th time we're having our LG refrigerator repaired. It's been totally rebuilt yet we still have parts failing. I bought your product because Consumer Reports gave it an excellent review. They were definitely in error. We've lost hundreds of dollars in food products, steaks, chops, poultry etc. Are very unhappy.
