Huge bright interior

We searched long and hard for the right refrigerator and were worried that this model would seem too huge in our 7x9 foot condo kitchen. But it fits fine. Best feature is the slim ice maker in the refrigerator part. Other brands had such bulky ice makers they seemed to take all the space. Love the bright, easy to clean, easy to find things in interior and the smudge resistant exterior. The long drawer at the bottom of the refrigerator is adjustable for produce, meat, and deli and I use it for various things. The freezer has a huge capacity. No complaints!

I love my new refrigerator! It has an amazing amount of storage space in both the refrigerator and the freezer. The separate compartments in each space make the contents so easy to find as well. After having a side by side for 10 years this refrigerator wins in all categories.

After viewing several other brands of counter depth refrigerators, we were impressed by the features that the LG LFX25991ST offered.
We were initially concerned with the stainless steel finish as our last refrigerator ( another brand) developed stains from the in-door water and ice dispenser. Their is no similar problem with the LG due to the design and operation of this feature; no stray ice cubes or drips.
The interior of the "French Door" design is well planned with individual drawers for produce and moveable shelving that allows for customizing the storage space to your needs. The "slid-out" drawer is handy for items like deli-meats and cheeses.
The freezer section is spacious. Featuring two upper slide out drawers for various sized frozen goods. Plus a deep, wide and open space below for larger and bulkier frozen items.
This is another "consumer friendly" product from LG.

The customer service department says that this freezer does not stay cold because I should only open the refrigerator door 17 times per day. I and my family have used other brands and never had that problem or suggestion before. It seems that we spent too much money on a poorly made refrigerator that drastically underperforms (my freezer thaws and refreezes) if I open the door more than 17 times a day.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This refrigerator replaced a side by side refrigerator. It gives us the width we were looking for in the chilled section, the ice maker takes up less room and the two sliding drawers in the freezer compartment, plus the roomy bottom bin, have taken away my reservation about a pull out freezer drawer. The ice seems to taste cleaner as well, possibly because the bin is smaller and the cubes get replaced more frequently.

Counter depth refrigerator with a lot of room.

I had a lot of concern about loosing storage space by purchasing a counter depth refrigerator. I was able to load everything from the full sized, side by side, refrigerator into my new LG French door refrigerator and still had open storage space. I am not sure the cubic feet increased, but the refrigerator design takes advantage of lost space in other designs.
I was also apprehensive about the change to a bottom drawer freezer versus my old side by side freezer. The transition has been easy. The multi drawer design allows for easy searching for the desired frozen food. Also, the in the door ice maker is fantastic! What a great improvement. It is amazing how much space you gain. It operates so quietly. The LED lighting is wonderful and makes it easy to see everything even it is in a back corner. I am impressed with my new LG French Door refrigerator and will look into other LG appliances in the future.

Best Refrigerator we have had

Wonderful unit with plenty of storage . We were pleasantly surprised to find this French door unit that fit through our narrow house door. (32") . Family loves the ice maker and bright interior. The adjustable shelving and multiple freezer draws make finding items a breeze.

LG COUNTER DEPTH REFRIGERATOR

HAVE OWNED FOR APPROX. 6 MONTHS, AND HAVE FOUND THIS TO BE AN EXCELLENT REFRIGERATOR. THIS IS PROBABLY THE BEST COUNTER DEPTH REFRIGERATOR ON THE MARKET. HAS CONSISTENT TEMPERATURES, SMALL, BUT GOOD ICE MAKER, AND GOOD FREEZER COMPARTMENT. (STILL NOT SURE I LIKE ANY OF THE NEW DUAL EVAPORATOR RERIGERATORS, BUT THEY MUST HAVE SOME REASONS FOR THIS NEW FEATURE).
