Love the counter depth!

We have a small kitchen, and this refrigerator solved so many problems for! Super quiet operation and easy to see all the contents. Love, love, love the ice maker and water dispenser.

Outstanding

Only had this fridge a couple days now, but so far it's outstanding. Had to get the "counter-depth" fridge to fit well in it's space, so thought there'd be less interior room for food, but it actually has 1more cubic foot of space inside than my older one.
So far I'm very pleased with the performance.
One year from now I'll write another review about how it's still workin'.

Looks great and easy to use, but...

Have had for 4 months now. It is not as quiet as expected. The way the upper drawers are designed you have to open both doors to access two of them. The freezer drawer dumps all of the cold air in the freezer compartment onto the floor when you open it. Room temperature air fills the freezer compartment causing frost and ice buildup on the inside drawers. Other than those design flaws it does what it is designed to do and does look awesome at the same time.

One Significant Flaw

W generally like our LG refrigerator. But the annoying feature is that 9 times out of 10, we get a warning beep because the doors have not remained shut. We shouldn't have to hang around a couple of seconds to make sure the doors are closed. Need to improve on the self-closing / sealing feature.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had my new refrigerator for almost a month now and couldn't be happier! From the slim design ice maker with useable door space to the brilliant design and beautiful lighting, it's everything I'd hoped it would be. There is so much room, and you can see it all at a glance! The counter depth is completely worth the higher price. No issues or trouble whatsoever!

The demise of our previous counter depth refrigerator necessitated some fast and furious research and shopping which led us to this LG model. Could not be happier with: exterior & interior design, capacity, visibility of contents, shelf flexibility, compact ice-maker, lighting. It suits our needs extremely well.
