Roomy and Quiet

I was pleased with the easy access to items because of the counter length. Also liked the three storage area in freezer. Only issue is the bin drawers should be 2 instead of 3, and match the width of refrigerator doors

Icemaker is terrible

After happily purchasing a LG clothes washer, LG clothes dryer, and LG dishwasher, I bought this expensive counter depth beautiful stainless refrigerator. The icemaker capacity is too small and the ice is constantly stuck up in the machine and does not perform as intended. So we have to purchase ice which is so inconvenient. I will say that the layout of the freezer is very nice. The depth of the refrigerator door shelves is narrow and many jars for condiments will not fit. This model needs to go back to the drawing board.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the size and convenience of finding things

I love the lighting inside. Easy to locate items on shelves. Freezer has lots of room. Need to be sure the freezer drawer is closed because frost will form.

I LOVE this fridge

I did a lot of research and tested several models. I like have the seperate ice from water dispenser. This model is so elegant looking and pretty in my small kitchen and they designed it just perfect. Love having the three seperate drawers in the freezer as well as a seperate ice storage tray in the bottom. I feel this fridge was designed for me. LG does it right. I'm a little concerned about the compressor going out, that seemed to be the biggest complaint but it has a good long warranty and that was the final deciding factor in my purchase.

It delivers what was promissed

My wife was very sceptic at the beginning about all the features etc. and thought that the space was small. Now we had it in use for a month and the organization within the fridge and freezer makes her realize that it stores actually quite a bit.
It cools well and keeps things fresh. The light looks great inside when you open the fridge.
The one con I would say is that the ice maker is a little slow and does not have a lot of capacity. You really need to plan ahead if you know that you need a lot of ice and store it in the freezer. On the other hand with the location in the door it leaves a lot of extra room in the fridge. I guess you can't have it all :-)

French doors work great in small kitchen

We researched many different brands but liked the LG best. It fits in a tight space just clearing an overhead cabinet, and the counter depth french doors take less space opening into a passageway. I love the bright lighting and the refrigerator section at eye level. The freezer is bigger than our old one and the drawers make food storage more organized. I love it and wonder now why we waited so long to replace our old one.

great features and quality

This refrigerator was purchased to replace a new different brand that had design flaws. We remodeled and was obligated to have a counter depth. This refrigerator is roomy. Really like the sliding shelf for the milk or other tall items that cannot go into the door. Also the ice maker is quiet, produces more ice than we use consistently and has the container in the freezer designed to save ice for increased usage. We had to have the shoot for the ice adjusted after the fridge was installed otherwise it has worked perfectly.

Keeps Food Fresh and Organized

Wonderful refrigerator that keeps our food fresh and organized. Our only complaint has been the occasional noise that the compressor makes...very loud popping noises when the refrigerator is working hard to keep cool. It is quieter than the 15-year old refrigerator it replaced, but not as quiet as we would like as we live in a small home.
