Looks great but

Pros : The looks of this refrigerator makes the kitchen. Love how you can see an overview of everything inside. Food doesn't get lost in the nooks and crannies. Crisper works very well. LED lighting is so cool. Freezer is bigger than it looks. Stainless cleans up well with microfiber. Cons: It isn't meant for large families. Door storage is limited. The ice maker is horrible. If you don't use the dispenser often, the ice melts and refreezes and it gets stuck in the dispenser. The best way to deal with it that I have found, make sure you use the dispenser a little every day or throw it all out and start over if it has been inactive. Have had it since early June 2013.
Pros: easy to use, Quality

We have had this fridge for 6 weeks. So glad we bought it. Read on line about using yellow spray can of lemon pledge on the fridge to reduce finger prints. I tried it 5 days ago and so far not one print on my fridge.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

A few design modifications would be helpful.

Needs larger crisper drawer to accommodate celery. Two drawers rather than three for fruits and vegetables would satisfy this requirement. Moisture forms on outside of freezer drawer and ice dispenser in humid weather.

Expensive, but a great product

The LG Counter Depth Stainless model is a top of the line product for sure. I love that it has a 10-year warranty on the motor. The motor went out on our last fridge so that was important to us. I love the french door design and energy efficiency of this model. The ice and water is convenient and well designed. The adjustable features on the control panel make for a customizable fridge to meet your food specific needs.
However, from a cost-benefit analysis, I don't think this fridge is a good value. There are other fridges that provide the same features at a cheaper price point. It is a top of the line product and they make you pay for it. Ironically, it is more expensive than their full-size version that has the identical features. At 30 cubic feet, the full-size version is a better value. But only getting 25 cubic feet and having to pay more wasn't my idea of a good value. We were forced to purchase a counter-depth model due to the layout of our kitchen, but I was not happy about having to pay MORE for LESS space. In hindsight, I would rather have gone in a different direction, but it is still a great fridge that meets our family's needs. At the end of the day, you end up paying more for the cache of the LG name and I would not do it again.

I like the three doors as I have two children and they are in and out of thr fridge every minute. The half doors and big space make it quicker for thier choises and they keep door open for less time and if it is open too long a buzz reminds them to close the door.
