Excellent coverage and tonality

Premium Plus is better than Sherwin’s Duration

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been a professional painter for over 30 years. I’m happy to use Premium Plus Exterior Satin whenever I can. The price and quality is right! I always pre-prime with Behr’s clear sealer. So I have a perfect surface to work with. With 2 coats of premium plus I can get 10-15 years of protection before I need to paint again. Sherwin used to have a comparable product called Resilience which they replaced with an inferior product called Latitude. SW Duration doesn’t spread as well as Premium Plus and fades in 7 years. I recommend Premium Plus to anyone that wants a quality product that works as it should. A consistent product that is priced well saving me $10-20 a gallon over Sherwin products. .

Love this Behr Paint!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Behr Premium Plus exterior on all my raise bed frames, my raised bed boxes and my wooden fence! It covers great and made old wood look new again! My raised beds have been in the weather for several years and still look great!!

well here we go again another great product from behr. This paint is deep and rich goes on smooth, fills the brush with every stroke, very spreadable, dries to almost glass like perfection. It is one of myfavorite in the price range. I will buy again no problem thanks BEHR

Knew it was awesome, BUT...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] That old saying, "You don't know what you've got till it's gone," sums up my latest experience with Behr paints, or rather, without them. We've used Behr exclusively for all our extensive remodeling, both inside and out for years and I guess you could say, started taking the quality for granted. When tasked with painting the shutters on my mom's new home, I thought I would save a few bucks #it was for her, not me, so why not?# and bought the other brand that Home Depot carries #it starts with a "G" and ends in "lidden"#. Wow, what a lesson. First thing, I dipped my brush in and immediately had a giant mess all over her driveway. The paint ran off as if it were water and, it covered about as well. It took THREE coats to get a uniform finish. In the end, what a mistake. There was no time or money saved. With Behr, we always get beautiful coverage with one coat and it doesn't drip or run. NEVER AGAIN! Save yourself time and money. Behr truly covers in one coat. #We always prime and use two coats, but it is not necessary.# It's an excellent consistency that doesn't drip or run and in our harsh coastal environment, it has held up amazingly well without fading or peeling.
