Control pad frustrating me

Purchased this range when remodeled my kitchen 6 months ago. I like the sleek lines, the capacity of oven, and top burners very adequate. Major objection is the sensitivity of the control pad. Several times while baking/roasting, I have leaned against the control area and cleared the settings of the oven! Also, for my personal use, the lower oven is not worth the extra cost.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I couldn't be happier. I use the center burner with cast iron skillet quite frequently and love it. The burners heat up quickly and are very efficient allowing me to cook things on a lower heat setting. It's a beast!

Spacious stovetop

We are pleased with our purchase. We were a little concerned the width was the same as our old one but now has 6 burners, how much cooking surface would we have. There is plenty - 2 large, 3 med & only 1 small + quick boil - t’s great!

Center burner and griddle

Now that I've had this range for almost three years I feel compelled to write a review to help other potential buyers. After about a year of use the griddle insert started flaking and discoloring in spite of following the manual instructions for care and use. I am not confident purchasing another one will be any different after reading other negative reviews. Recently, the center burner will only light on one side which causes uneven cooking thus making that burner pretty much useless. I followed the instructions in the manual to clean the burner and it still is not working properly. I was expecting a much better quality and am very disappointed in GE.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GE CAfe - lower oven stopped heating

HI! After 5plus years of happily using our oven the lower oven does not heat up anymore. Everything else works fine. What might be wrong?
