Awesome Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This range is gorgeous in my newly remodelled kitchen. Both ovens bake evenly. Electric cooktop is great with variable sizes to fit all my pots and pans.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just had this unit installed. It boils water very quickly, and all the burners perform great. I bought this unit because of the 5 burners, and the baking drawer options. It also looks great in my kitchen with my other stainless appliances. I have a GE Profile convection microwave mounted above the range and even though they are not the same line they look great together. I highly recommend this product for its performance and range of features!

Excellent oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this stove/ oven for about a year and absolutely love to cook on it and bake in it. The baking drawer is nice too to be able to bake sheet of cookies without heating the whole oven and also is a nice warming drawer. I love the gas burners and impressed with how they cook the food. I would highly recommend this product and have been very happy so far.

love the powerburners on the range and the griddle. Oven heats up quickly and is very quiet. had read reviews that fan was loud. not true for both convection or regular oven. So glad I purchased this range!

Noisy Fan

Had the fan replaced and its still very nosiy. also the front burner wont light (GE is shipping out a part). We have buyers remorse, wish we purchased another product. Supposedly the fan keeps the electronics from over heating, but it is wau too loud. This is the first range we have ever had that we could even hear the fan. Really dissapointed . . . Weve only had it for 2 weeks so were hoping nothingelse goes wrong . . .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

OK, I don't do much of the cooking, my wife does. But since we have gotten this stove the food she cooks, excellent before, has become better. This is due to this oven's ability to cook everything completely and evenly.
As I stated I am no expert, but the oven is easy to use (even for me to heat fish sticks, chicken nuggets, etc). The burners heat the pans evenly so my eggs don't burn or cook faster on one side. The griddle is awesome for cooking pancakes, bacon, and fish.
Also, it looks really awesome, I mean, look at the thing, it is very very cool looking and you don't have to pay crazy high price for it.
All around I am completely satisfied.
To the people who complain about the fan noise. Yes, there is a fan, yes it sounds like a fan. No it is not LOUD and is not distracting. But, I also have two children who could probably drown out the noise of a Super Bowl crowd, not that they are always around when I am cooking.

This may be a great gas range but if you use propane don't buy it. The left front Power Boil burner is useless unless it's used on to boil water. The burner's flame is uneven. The front part of the burner has a high flame while the back part is half the size of the front. If you cook food on it your pan will be heated unevenly. It impossible to cook on. The bad thing is that GE say's it's compatible with propane but it's not. If we had know this was a problem we never would have bought the range. GE's customer service has not been any help. The bad part is their tech's know that this is a problem but are powerless to help. GE should not sell this unit with a propane conversion kit. So I for one will vote with my wallet by not ever buying another GE product again.

Great Range with Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: A great range. 2 hi BTU burners, that can bring a large pot to boil in just a couple minutes. The highest BTU burner also works great in a simmer setting which gives a flexibility in use of the range. The simmer burner that keeps an even flame. Excellent convection performance for the oven cooking a 20lb turkey evenly and easily.
Continuous grates make good use of range. Other plus over ranges like Bertazzoni that do not allow for self cleaning.

Cons: Broiler is uneven and browning takes time. Stainless steel takes time to clean and takes greater care. Warming drawer can dent easily.
