Nice stove with cheap parts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The stove works fine BUT beware the parts are cheap. The knobs are plastic and parts of the burner device break easily. Overall this is not a bad stove but it can be a monster to keep clean. I would suggest that you compare other brands to find a stove just as good with a smaller pricetag.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this range for over 5 years and love it as much today as I did when it was installed. The burners can really crank out the heat or, in the case of the right rear, run warm to keep pans at the ready. The ovens are equally versatile. The main oven comes to temperature quickly and provides even heating. The ventilation fan turns on automatically above 450 degrees, and it is on the loud side, but after using the oven, leaving the door ajar quickly drops the temp. and the fan turns off. This range has single handedly improved my cooking immensely.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Too Darn Loud!

I have suffered with this oven for one year and will be replacing it. The oven cooling fan turn on at 350 degrees and it's very annoying. We like to entertain in our kitchen but can't have the oven on because it's too darn loud!
Even after It's shut off the fan continues for at least 10 minutes, so if you want to eat right after baking, you have to endure the whine of the motor - really annoying. I've had the motor replaced but it made no difference.
If I knew in advance about the noisy fan, I would not have purchased this oven.
Moreover, the baking oven takes 30 minutes (yes, 30 minutes to pre-heat.# so it's usless for heating up a slice of pizza quickly - which is one of the reasons I purchased the Cafe. I mistakenly thought the second oven could be used like a mini oven for my kids to heat up small items only to find out that it takes 30 minutes for it to pre-heat.
I've never been so dissatisfied with an appliance in my life. I don't recommend it and I'm really sorry I bought it. What a waste of money.
If after reading this poor review anyone still wants this oven, I will sell it to you for half price. #It's 11 months old)

Preheating is very quick

The computerized touch pad has a brain of it's own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this apppliance. BUT the computerized touch pad and brain has a mind of it's own. I'm cooking a roast now for 4 hours. every 10-15 minutes the oven temperture stops and the has to be reset. A reading of "Broil Hi, Lo, close the door" comes on out of noware. This also happens just out of the blue when the oven is shut down??
I have only had this appliance for a few weeks. I guess I have to have a service call to reset the system. For a GE premium product ,with a very high price tag to act up like this is not acceptable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love this stove

Things cook faster and more evenly. We also like all the burner options and settings. Only complaint is that it can be a little easy to turn and/or leave on when not cooking.
