What a great addition to our Kitchen...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the last finishing touch to our remodel that started 6 months ago. We switched from electric to gas, and love it!! We love the look and just hope that we can keep it sparkling, like new. Our son's comment was.... wow... our kitchen looks like we are rich!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just love to cook on this range. The center burner, high boil burner and the simmer burner are great. I have yet to use the lower oven to cook but it works well to keep food warm. This is my first high end gas range and it is so easy to cook on. I used the convection feature for the first time to cook chicken and it was fast, juicy and delicious. I feel like a professional cook on one of those cooking shows. I can't wait for Christmas to see how it handles my dozens of cookies.

Not the best oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The oven is cooling fan makes alot of noise. The gas cooktop burners blow out on the lowest setting. The bottom oven is electric! (even on the gas model).
I do like the capacity of the oven. Three racks are great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not yet tried the baking drawer, but the oven is spacious and works great. My favorite thing about this range so far is the stove top. The power boil feature is priceless and I love that my largest pots and pans fit beautifully.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The range is easy to use. The videos provided on DVD are very helpful to learn how to use and clean the unit. It heats quickly and the convention bakes and roasts nicely keeping meats tender. The stainless steel surface is easy to clean and the SS cleaner works well. It vents and cools the oven after use and it is quiet. I purchased the GE cafe microwave convection over the range oven also and gained 3 ovens since I did not have the wall space for double wall ovens. The main oven is large. The tray in the bottom oven comes out so cleaning the bottom oven should be easy. I happened to meet a regional GE rep when I was researching multiple products and he was very helpful and honest about the product. The GE home office located in the USA was also very helpful when I called with questions before my purchase. I decided on these items for functionality and the reliable repair ratings for the GE. The vent fan in the microwave has 3 speeds and low is very quiet. The convection bake worked well in the microwave also. I am pleased with these items.

cafe gas range

The stove top grates easily scratch the stainless.
The control touch pad is extremely sensitive, it has been turned off by accident if you happen to lean to reach for something and your. body touches it. The heat from the stove top has melted the laminate on the cabinet doors that are above the range. I love the appearance. I also like the simmer burner and wish there were two simmer burners It has also damaged the handles on my cookware..
